Good ideas. Just a friendly addition - when mounting paper towel holders to vertical surfaces, bend the towel holder slightly so it angles upward just a bit. That will ensure whatever you place on it won't fall off
Great ideas! Just another tidbit on dollar tree items... this is from experience and other RUclips videos... the dollar tree brand of command hooks are NOT good for walls! They are quite permanent and can rip off paint and paint layers from your wall. This is one item best purchased as its brand name counterpart. Happy home hacks and crafting! Thanks for the video!!
Agreed---only my problem is that the hooks fall off the glue pad eventually. On the other hand---the eCircuit alkaline batteries are as good as any brand name (see YT video testing them & cost sooooo much less!
Me too ! ! ! I liked the clear plastic photo frames as a drawer spice rack as you can see them in the drawer as the metal racks let spices slide off into a cupboard. I preferred my spices in the small cabinet over the range microwave but was hard to reach for a shorter person. The drawer spice organizer works for everyone.
I love this Channel! I built my tiny cabin in Trapper Creek Alaska 20 years ago now and I haven't had electricity for that long also. I get wonderful ideas here that saves me so much space!!✌🏻❤😊
Tomato cages. Brilliant. Use my antique colanders for the baskets. I will soon have my own kitchen again and I can't wait to revel in my organization expertise. I plan on visiting Dollar Tree to help me do it!
You are a genius. These tips were sooo helpful with clutter and not enough flat surfaces. Especially the first spice storage idea and the first container lid and frying pan ideas
5:25 Hanging a heavy pointy Iron on the back of a Door like that_ is very dangerous, especially when there are small Children in the home. If Someone slamms that Door, that iron can do some serious damage.
Some really great ideas. The only thing that bothered me is when you put the eating utensils upside down. I was always taught, both at home and RN school, to put the handles up. This way a person doesn’t get other peoples germs on the end that goes into your mouth.
Okay out if all of those tips the ironing board trick won me hands down, I have been shifting mine all over the place trying to find a home for it. Perfect and I have the very door to hide it behind as it’s always open 24/7 so it’s out of sight.
Don't know tht I wud trust th iron hanging on it along w bord, $1. store stuf get'n REAL flimsy, same w bath towels, note, she loads frm bottom up. but 👍 awesome ideas! My brain often doesn't readily SEE out of the box.
I used a few of the pool noodles to protect my car doors when opening them in a tight garage. Just attach the pool noodles to the garage wall with double stick carpet tape.
I just happened to have a piece of tubing hanging around, and found a paper towel holder at a thrift shop. I discovered that the plastic tubing fits over the vertical part of the paper towel holder. I can put 5 large rolls of Angel Soft T.P. that sits beside my toilet where I can hide it, but keep it within hands reach.
For the dish rack idea (which is so good!) you could always paint the hanging towel rack arms the same color as the towels and it would look like they were floating on the wall.
Some people come up with such brilliant ideas! One thing that I'd not do, however, is to ever hang an iron up like that ... like an accident waiting to happen.
The paper towel holders hung horizontally such as for hats or, even heavier, toilet tissue likely need spacer/support on the bottom so they don't sag down and dump off what you hang on them.
You've got the best ideas I swear!!! I watch a lot of these crafty thrifty $1 store put togethers and yours is the best! Wish you had a book or an online blog or something... Keep up the good work and thank you again!
Friendly comment: storing your spices in the light drastically shortens their useful life. People tend to keep them far longer than they're good as it is--I know I'm bad about using them as long as they even SORTA smell like they should--but light is muy mal.
I was going through some boxes and came across an old paper towel holder and didn't want to keep it but also didn't want to throw it out. The hat idea is great! I will do it later today. Thank you!
I do like zip ties but if you trim them they will be very sharp, so remember that when positioning. You can melt the sharp ends with a bic lighter. Don't overdo it or breathe in.
RUclips gives you the option to slow videos down or speed them up by pushing the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the video screen, “playback speed”. I use this option all the time. It works very well.
I watch a lot!!! of these videos and this one was one of the best ones ever! kudos and keep up the good work! I very rarely write comments for many videos.
Some good ideas except the pool noodle for brooms/mops. Hooks on wall and zip ties on the tools work better; take less room so can put more up plus not so hard to hang them.
I really like the tip of using a pool noodle to hang up broom and mops and such. I have bought the "real" thing and they are way to expensive. I imagine you could spray paint the noodle to whatever color to match the wall where you are putting it up. Great idea!!! Thanks!!
For the brooms and mops and swiffers etc. I just hang up a coat rack with 5 or 6 hooks and screw it on the wall. If you need two buy another one. I have a little covey hole downstairs where I put the cat litter box and I have one of these thin coat racks on each side of the wall. I also have my vacuum cleaners in this small space as well.
Mostly great ideas, but FYI, Dollar Tree also has broom & mop holders you can stick on the wall, and they look a LOT better than that neon-green pool noodle.
There ARE other dollar stores, but bet Dollar TREE gives kickback of products or $ something. As there are several different people doing "Dollar Tree" vid's

@mes373 I was thinking that myself. Adding a clip or something to block the end would do a good job, too.
Yeah, those hats were definitely going to fall off, without something done to it.
😊😊@@KatMer6163
@@MissMolly3377yeah I was thinking a clip on the end might be enough
That's a great idea for storing the towels
I am amazed at how people can organize things from dollar store things. Never thought of these ideas!
I'm sooo glad they sharing 😂😂😂😂
The photo frame for spices OMG ,,,that’s soooo smart 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The plastic-frames-into-drawer-spice rack made left my mouth hanging open. 😊 awesome
They sell a wire spice rack. Not sure why people are doing this

I preferred my spices in the small cabinet over the range microwave but was hard to reach for a shorter person. The drawer spice organizer works for everyone.
Great tips ! ! ! I especially like the spice organizer in the drawer using clear plastic, angled, photo frames.
I am impressed-and will have to watch it again to absorb all of the good ideas!!!
I love this Channel! I built my tiny cabin in Trapper Creek Alaska 20 years ago now and I haven't had electricity for that long also. I get wonderful ideas here that saves me so much space!!✌🏻❤😊
WOW! Good on you! Definitely a powerful example. Be well!

Besides🙄🤕breaking nice iron that DIDN'T come from $1. stor🤭
Yes!

Maybe color coded to know spoon vs fork vs knife
OP: I was taught the same thing. I almost had a stroke, when I saw that!!! LOL

That's a good idea!!

Great ideas! I'm about to move into my new home and I'm really broke, these ideas will help me get some basics. Thank you so much.😘

Ok the spice rack is freaking BRILLIANT!!
Love these ideas. Especially for the silverware. Thank you.

Why use paper towel holder when you can put them on the handle to the plunger which is sitting right there
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you, create all those wonderful things from those different items. Great work.
OMG!!! All these ideas are simply brilliant.

I absolutely agree!!

Sandpaper/file ends a bit
You can also twist them off, at the base, with a pair of pliers. This will keep the ends smooth!!
Use end cutters to clip them clean.
I put the bottoms of my nasty shoes together so they don't touch other parts of the shoe.
Some really good ideas, but many flew by so fast I couldn’t figure them out!
U can chng the video playback speed. Open video and tap button showing 3 vertical dots.
U can usually view transcript 4 instructions as well

Thanks I have the exact shower curtain hooks. I like the jeans & purse idea.

I’d be concerned the glue tape would come off too easily but I do like the pool noodle concept!
“Grab” is the word of the day 😮😮😮😮
Thanks for all the tips and tricks!

OH My goodness!! Thank uuyaa! Such genius ideas😮
You're amazing! Absolutely love this
You have some great ideas here. I shared them with my friends.
Thank you so much 😊your ideas are great and very relatable
This video was brought to you by your friendly neighbourhood Dollar Store😊
If I took a drink every time she said GRAB I would need to be hospitalised
A nice assortment of storage ideas. A few might for work for me. Just a note saying ‘grab’ every time something is used gets repetitive.
Awesome hacks. Thank you for sharing!
Omg! You are soooo clever!😊
Really useful ideas 😀
Theres a few of these i would actually do 💕
I love these ideas thank you
Awesome ideas! Thanks ❤
Is she obsessed with the word grab!😅
Wow, you surely grab a lot 😂
Brilliant ideas! Congrats!
Gracias mil…me parecen excelentes propuestas.
That last pool noodle idea was pretty sketchy. 😂
Well done very good work bravo

Thank you soooo. Much❤🎉
Right? When you pull and push the handles from the pool noodle how kind will it stick to the wall?
Great ideas to get me going ❤
Every time the word “grab” is said, take a drink.
I was wondering if someone else caught how often she said that.😂
Annoyed the h*ll out of me. What is with all the grabbing??
But how long will each project last?
My thoughts exactly!
Making wonky constructions with cheap junk to contain more junk. And almost none of them solve a problem that really exist.
Agree 1000% 😂😂😂
😭😭😭
And we love it because it makes us feel good😊😊😊
Awesome 😎
Things made are uselss
Grab grab grab grab 😊
Most of these videos are pretty stupid but yours has some very good ideas. Thanks. And not a lot of wasted jabbing time. 😅 Nice job.
When you add the cost of all the materials needed to do one thing, it will cost more than buying the finished product.
Sometimes that's true!
This video is great for ideas and putting stuff together you might already have laying around. We do have to move away from plastic...
Especially the toilet roll holder 😂
@@franceswatts4001 Yes, absolutely and with inflation even more.
You have creative ideas. Thesaurus’s have dozens of words that can be used instead of grab . It will add som creativity to your explanation.

Grab it!
Wouldn't hang my jeans like that
Are these sponsored by the dollar stores?😂
Doubtful. They just happen to have really inexpensive things to use.

1:40 bottom shoes on top of other shoes top are not good way! Spreading germs!
The same thing, that you use for the ironing board, can be used for the baseball caps.
GRAB!!!
That last one might last 15 seconds if you’re lucky.
👌👌👌
GRAB GRAB GRAB GRAB GRAB - are you lost for words ?
I wish I was creative
