This is my thoughts on what types every merc would train:
Scout - Electric
Soldier - Flying
Pyro - Fire
Demoman - Fighting
Heavy - Ice
Engineer - Steel
Medic - Poison
Sniper - Grass
Spy - Ghost
called all but Heavy and Sniper.
water type beats fire
I always like Grass types, sadly they one of the more easily beatable types in the game along with Ice and Rock types
My first shiny in Shield was Golet
I'm surprised Dragon Types weren't mentioned
My First shiny in Let's Go Eevee was a Ponyta, but the I forgot to save, so my real first shiny was a pidgey and straight after that, a Shiny Pidgeot appeared.
I would take ground types it has my most favourite Pokémon in it and I would become a Ground type gym leader to have sandslash on my shoulder at all times.

My favorite are dragon types. I know they are weak against ice and fairy types but I consider them a good strong type alongside fighting or steel types. I also like their designs as well

I remember back in the day, the only sure way to beat a Dragonite was another Dragonite. Even ice types were not that good because Dragonite was so fast and could use fire attacks.

Dragon is without question my favorite type! They remind me of my childhood watching Dragon Tales. My favorite Dragons being Dragonite, Goodra, Charizard, Flygon, Salamence, & Ampharos. (As long as Charizard & Ampharos have their Mega Evolutions, I count them as true Dragon Types)
There’s actually a TF2/Pokemon SFM called Pika Fortress. It’s several episodes if you want to react to that.

I like psychic types, Gardevoir and Gallade are always my favorites because they are so powerful. One is psychic and fairy type and the other is psychic and fighting. And my favorite legendary coming from the type is Deoxys.

I agree with engine steel is the best
they have the highest average defense, the highest number of resistances, can be parred with most types and have it work (accept ice and rock) even salvaging grass and bug 2 generally bad types, and having moves like gyro ball and heavy slam which take advantage of steel type's generally slow speed and higher weight, making them the perfect tank type.
I must confess, my Favorite Type is obviously Fire.
When fighting Grass, Ice, and Steel, there's is no End to their Fire Power. When the heat is on, Fire Type Pokemon are the Raging Flaming Kings.
My Fire Dream Team is Charizard, Flaeron, Infernape, Talonflame, Incineroar, and Moltres.
Aren't 3 starters a little excessive? There are more Pokemon with interesting niches such as their abilities tbf.
I do respect your choice for Talonflame.

I always prefer to use Water types. The type with the most Pokèmon. And I always keep a Gyarados on my team when I get the chance.
And Water Types tend to have the highest HP outside of Legendary Pokemon

Favorite three and least favorite three. 1 Poison. Simple but effective even to this day. 2 Bug. Spiders are my favorite animal and amazing something so small but so effective, and the funny reactions to spiders when only few are dangerous. 3 Rock. Lots of weakness but I did a team with rock type and won. Also fascinating to learn. 3 Flying. Not a fan of heights or speed types. 2 Dragon. Like the designs but I'm more of an underdog fan or over reliant on the strongest type. 1 Electric. Don't remember the last time I had one on my team.
Actually wrath2501, I’m more of a dual water and dark type user and hisuian samurott’s my go-to Pokémon and waterfall, dark pulse and razor shell are my go-to dual attacks
Personally, Ghost, Psychic, Dark, Steel, and fire~! Hehehe, chaos baby. Main the ghost order. Though, poison is good as well.
A good steel type is Durant. With a proper loadout it has 450 attack stat and 327 speed. Pretty much one shots most Pokemon.
My favorite types are electric and water types. Third favorite would poison.

Steel, Fairy and Water would be my top three favorite types while Ice, Rock and Fire are my top 3 least liked Types. And yes, I`m hating on Fire types mostly because they are so overrated (Looking at you Charmander).

@@jonezzhombre MissingNo is a glitched Pokemon, It uses the "Bird type" because in development of Pokemon it was the early version of the Flying type.
