Thank you for the review. I have had this pen in my inventory for some time now and because of the non existent English text on the package I had very little knowledge of what type of project to use it with. After watching your video I now have depleted the contents of the pen and fixed all of my cracked and broken collectibles. Great video and thanks a ton.

So this is a bit of a different video, but a cement pen is surprisingly useful.
    What are your thoughts?

I used to use the Tamiya extra thin cement limonene version, nice smell and no acetone smell but parts often fall of during the painting stages. Therefor I started using the regular one. I wish there was limonene cement as effective as the regular tamiya extra thin because it would be better for health and less time spent to vent out.

@@statoilbensin2190 that's really disheartening to hear, I became very ill with the acetone for Tamiya Extra Thin Cement plastic glue with lungs and sinuses burnt and coughing fits and runny nose, also the burning makes me prone to infection and I got hit bad for two weeks. Got to the stage where I think I now am allergic to acetone even with a 3M Mask and large ventilators it hits me and the next morning I cough. So I bought a few bottles of Tamiya limonene hoping that it would be a better less toxic option compared to Tamiya Extra Thin which I aint tried yet but according to you is not quite as good as Tamiya Extra Thin... we will see; in a video where some dude tries out all Tamiya glues the Tamiya Limonene actually did well compared to the Tamiya Extra Thin.

I've been trying to discover what this Limonene is all about regarding its uses in model making. I saw it mentioned in the British railway modelling Hornby Magazine in an article about fitting aftermarket flush glazing into older carriages as a detail enhancement. The author recommended a limonene solvent because apparently it didn't mar the clear plastic glazing as other solvents or adhesives would. That doesn't make much sense to me, as in, if it doesn't affect the surface, then how can it soften the glazing enough to adhere to the carriage window frames. The article annoyingly only breezed over the method, therefore, I need to procure some to see for myself. I will then hopefully demonstrate the method with more description on my own RUclips channel video.

hey andrew did you ever try out limonene as a plastic glue for modelling ? if so which brand and product and how did it compare to say Tamiya Extra Thin Cement plastic glue. I am having health issues suddenly with the Tamiya Extra Thin acetone based plastic glues and am desperate for a less toxic alternative that actually works

never heard of Cement pens so this was an interesting watch! Always good to have multiple options so i think ill look into it. I think most Lego is made out of ABS and if i remember correctly they don't react as fast as regular polystyrene. So most people just use super glue for lego >_
