Thank you soooo much for this BTS mate. As an aspiring film director these are extremely helpful and reassuring. It’s quite rare to find BTS that humble and worthy. Thanks mate.
Being a lover of film and finally owning my own Arri 16ST, I have to give it to you: you are truly courageous! Wonderful! Keep going - I think is' gonna be awesome...
Now this is what I'm talking about! This is the sort of thing I wish I could have been watching growing up, a more useful and helpful behind the scenes that truly lets me GO behind the scenes
Very cool video to see creators going for film and jumping right in! I wish more people would document the process for the indie folks. Can't wait to watch more! And to save a little film, don't roll camera until after you've called the slate. You've got the slate call on audio, then all you need on the film is a second or two to see the slate info and see it close.
Looks like a pretty professional set-up - cast and crew. Reminds me of my first real effort on a short. Films great cause it forces you to plan better and roll with the punches that life gives you. Plus it looks like a real movie when your done, not like a corporate video.
Awesome document. Thanks so much for putting this out. Hey, weird question: I notice you were using a 516 Manfrotto head, do you happen to know what sticks its on top of? They appear to be Manfrotto legs, but I was wondering if you knew the model number.
@@tannerbrowningfilms I actually think I nailed it down to being the 546B Manfrotto sticks, with like a ball-mount-to-flat-base adapter. But thank you for your reply, just the same. Really motivational to watch this process! Sorry for the way-too-specific question.

Thank you very much. Courageous…or crazy. Either way it’s been worth the trip.

That was the goal in making this. Wanted all to watch more what’s going on. Thanks for watching

Always start day one with a manageable schedule so it's easy to make your day, get off to a good start and people are feeling good.

Sadly I don’t, our grip truck had them in hand and they threw them in last minute.

If you're shooting film, ti's always a good idea to have some super speed lenses on hand. T1.2 is possible.
Definitely in hind sight would have been good to get faster glass.
When will we watch this movie?
Still figuring that out how and when. But hopefully soon
@ I'm looking forward to it, I hope we get a chance to watch it
Yo how much were your rentals overall not including processing/scanning? Sorry if you said the answer in the video
Rental for our SR2 was about $250 a day. I don’t have those numbers but will be address in coming videos
