While Red is the main character, there's another champion in Kanto, and this is Blue Oak! SO here comes Pokemon Blue, episode 1. The first rival starts his journey with squirtle, rattata, and pidgey!

A few things I noticed:
1. Blue asking his sister not to give a map to Red was hilarious.
2. I like the idea that it happens in 1996 and Gen 9 in the near future (since Blue is older than he would be now). Makes the rapid technology advance in Pokémon more rational.
3. Ratticate's death is going to hurt a lot more than in Red.
4. It's interesting to see the old animation but with improved graphics. Shows how much better you got during the years.
5. The ending will be a bit sad as well. Kinda like seeing Red loose in Gold.
Gotta agree with everything here.
Part of me feels like blue’s story isn’t gonna have as many individual sad moments as red’s but the loss of raticate would be something that burdens him through most of his story.
I dunno about that last one. Pedro has clearly established that being the best has wreaked havoc on red's mental health and rendered him unable to enjoy battling anymore. His strength is a prison cell that can only be unlocked by defeat

Damn bro, your completely right!, I guess the reason for Red returning after getting defeated from Gold would be why Red return to pallet town to his people, just because having a defeat after a billionya years, since his battle with Champion Blue, since then, he never lost ever again. Red was Completely Plus Officially Undefeatable. Even though he was the BEST, but wasn't perfection.

Daisy's foreshadow of Champion's Blue's final intro was on point. I love the little connections you make and their deeper meaning - that beneath Blue's punk exterior, he deeply cares about what his sister, grandfather, and others say to him.

1:32. Daisy crossing her fingers.^^ Such betrayal... Cool episode. I like the concept of re-visiting the original saga, but with Blue's point of view. (That flash forward during the second part was a perfect addition.)
I love the choice to make Blue’s theme an actual in-world song. So perfect 😆👍

This was a good start to the new series and I can't wait to see what else we have in store for Blue. Though I must admit the flash forward took me by surprise

I think Blue's personality and competitiveness at the beginning of his journey really shows the consequence of Not havingnhis parents around.
What is with the Japanese trope.of missing parents? Especially Dads, as important as they are it is ridiculous how we almost never see them. Norman is really the only one officially in the main games.
I like to imagine that blastoise would try to help blue but fail miserably 😂

So, not only are we seeing the story from Blue's perspective, but the whole series is also a story that an older Blue is telling to the next generation of Trainers. Nice.

Blue become just like his grandfather
Man, Blue's sister loves him, loves their family, so much. To some extent, I can't help but feel that first battle really set the tone for Blue for the rest of the game too. Both for his character, and for him mentally. I love that you're including old Blue in this. That he became a researcher like his grandpa warms my heart.
And seeing Rattata again - Whooo boy, that's heartbreak waiting to happen.
Seeing him rock out to his theme song on the Discman always makes me smile!

I'm glad Spin-Off Chapters in Pokemon are not that terrible. Plus, I can even imagine Blue encountered humans that are already infected by Vampiric Bat Pokemons (If you can easily count both Zubats, Golbats, and Crobats). And then maybe it's gonna be a reference to any vampire-like franchise like Castlevania

A story from a long time ago, this hits home reminds me of the time when I first got Pokémon. Yellow version Christmas of 99 I was 9 back then. Since then over a 24 year span I've beaten every generation 1-9 now a man of 33 this part is truly special to my heart. Thank you friend for this
