@TheFsJunkie Considering the A350 is a direct copy of the 787....? Im a fan of airbus myself.. and i have to disagree with you. Both manufacturing companies are as good and as bad as each other. I would say that the a340 is a fail considering how many have been sold. So bad that airbus have stopped producing them now! Maybe they should all be scrapped?? No. Because it is a workhorse.. and so is the 787. The End.
believe me airbus has no chance of beating boeing in the airline industry; They do post good competition but in reality the only widely used airbus is the a320 family. Boeing has the 777 200 and 300, 767, 787, 737, 747 400 and 800, plus all the military planes they make.
you dont know that so don't be talking go to boeing.com forward slash 787 and get a list of all the airlines that have ordered the 787. While in the mean time airbus hasn't even realesed a prototype of the a350 to see if airlines even like it :(
that's your opinion; but boeing spent millions of $'s to developed the 787 and give it sometime; the 787 will conquer the airline industry just like the the 737 777 757 did!!!
