- During the 2017 Vernasca Silver Flag trackday at Varano de' Melegari I recorded this 1967 Porsche 910 (chassis number 910 013). The car is moved by a 2 litre flat-6 engine which produces 220 bhp at 8000 rpm and a torque of 206 Nm with a total weight of just 575 kilo / 1267.7 lbs.

THANKS FOR WATCHING AND SUBSCRIBE!!!
He was really pushing it! Great to see a race car being raced!
Nothing beats this sound!
Can't beat the sound of an NA 6 cylinder. Looks so fun to drive.
James Herfurth of course you can! That's why NA 8, 10, and 12 cylinder engines exist!
flyingphoenix113 - Oh 😔
It's a flat 8
@@jordansteyn2790 The 910 Carrera 10? It's a 2.0L Flat-six. You may be thinking about the Porsche 804, which did have an eight cylinder flat-eight engine.
Quite soft suspension setting.
What a excellent car!
Jarek Nowak I think that's typically the way they were setup from that era
Oooh, this sounds so much better than all those LS swapped drift cars usually sliding around that track...
WOW, what a classic, so much better than seeing it in a museum. Bozzy, you da man! Thanks for bringing the action and great sounds to us!!
No problem at all! Thank you for watching ;)
That's how ya do it with a classic, grab it by the wheel and wrestle it round! Stirling stuff as ever Bozzy!
Thanks bro! ;)
i love these cars from these period. the design, (by engineers) is great all proportions are right. and the soundtrack is unpayable. heaven can wait.
Hello Bozzy.👋 This classic Porsche is just marvelous! It sounds so raw and brutal through my headphones.💕👂 The driver really was putting the hammer down and showing all of us from the new generation, how it used to be done.👍 Today, we wouldn't dream of building a proper racecar with "only" 220 horsepower, but I guarantee you, riding as a passenger in that beast would scare the sh!t out of most grown men. The performance of these old cars is still awesome! It's crazy seeing how relatively low and wide these cars look, too. Thanks again to both you and your mate for putting out such great content.👏👏👏
Hello Mick! I can only agree with you about everything you said. I'm quite sure my face looked like something like that O.O when I came to know the specifications of this cars some years ago! 220hp may seem too few but... :O Thanks a lot for watching! ;D
That is the reason because modern motorsport is boring. This car is moving and you can imagine how fast it is. Great.
Its one of the most original Porsche 910
Harald Heilmann what do you mean by 'most original' .are there fakes around?
ranger4770, possibly. There are a lot of replica GT40s and 250LMs in this class. A 908 would be very hard to replicate because of its unique flat-8 engine. A 910 would be significantly less difficult because it's essentially a potent 911 engine with MFI.
ranger4770
Many Porsche 908 are fully restaurated but this Porsche is very original. I saw this car live at Hockenheim. I think its not so easy to produce replicas because a Porsche is unique. Its more easy to produce GT40 because engines are still availables

Yes! I love Porsche! He was driving it very quick. That's the best way 😎
never ..porsche never is best car
The 910 is one of the great Porsche sports cars of the 60s. Didn’t have the same on-track success of some others in the 9- series, perhaps, but it sure did punch above its weight.
I love this video I watch it every day
that metallic sound so good
Driving a vintage race car the way it was meant to be driven + this wonderful footage = bliss
Best Porsche sound ❤️
Awesome video, the off throttle is so raw!
Thanks!
Never knew this Porsche was a thing... glad I learned about it!

Rather like a Lola T70 from the front. Only when you see the driver that you realise how small it is.

Sounds like hardly pushed Syrena 105 inline-3 2stroke :)
You can realy see the low weight of the car.
Dont need 500+ hp to be quick an have fun ;)
...600 Kg and 300 hp are the magic numbers!
