S22 Rider, Batch 1. I have my Motor stator pinned, installing the CNC slider mod, Shinko 244 Wheel installed. Without a battery size increase having a 4000w motor is basically pointless. The "PRO" improvements were 100% necessary though. The most recent firmware update was noticeable improvement in torque and stability. Riding this wheel is an absolute blast! Guess I was KingsSong's "Beta Bitch" this time around lol No regrets!

I agree just had my motor swapped to the zq3300 I think, the 4k motor is not needed. What burns my ass is I got it a day before canada day last year and its been in and out of eevees ever since. The pro releases and for me to attain the upgrades its no longer a 4500 cad device its a 7000 cad device to put it in a proper euc. These companies need to do better kingsong fked me for the last time never kingsong again.

@SwitchUpYt when I got mine back from the motor swap I takin for a ride, I got knocking from the bearings. Had to slightly loosen, then screws around motor and hit it with a mallet. I'm waiting to see what else fails I have around 2k km it's been in repair more then on the road. Don't get me wrong when this euc is 100 percent probably one of the best out there. The ride is stable and feels great. The least that kingsong can do is make my first batch what the pro is now. They lost a customer.

CNC slider mod makes this thing a whole new euc. Eats up roots and rocks and uneven ground like a Cadillac. Put my new motor in (had knocking that got really loud and constant on old one), and at around 50ish miles started getting knocking sound again. Only when euc is on and powered, and kinda random at slow speeds and constant at higher. My favorite euc over my other 2 (v12ht and master) eucs when I'm not wondering if I'm about to lose my front teeth.

Man I was kicking myself when I first heard about the pro version. Then I put my s22 up for sale, but now I'm having second thoughts. I have the october batch, suspension doesn't rebound after a week of riding(anyone know a temporary easy solution without disassembling?), but other than that the wheel is fine. New suspension will be a must have, but it would be just a pretty cheap upgrade for the old s22, and I'm not sure if the more expensive pro version would be worth it for the other upgrades. What is there to be gained from having a slightly bigger motor in this case? speed is listed as the same. Maybe it gives a bit of extra torque? But is it an actually meaningful amount? also, doesn't it mean that the range will suffer, since batteries are the same? I'm not sure the motor is worth it atm. And what about the mosfet upgrade, what will it do better?

I think the coil needs to be switched out for heavier riders. Preload doesn’t do anything to change the spring performance, it just alters the sag when you step on. The S wheels continue to perform well with different rider weights, because of the non linear suspension design which stiffens with compression. But optimal performance comes from having the right spring weight.

Hey man, how is the S22 Pro? I am waiting for our local EUC pro to recover from a spill he had a month ago. Collar bone. He is going to have me play around with him on his extra V10f (while he rides his new Sherman-s) to see if I can get into EUCs before plunging but I have a feeling I will like it. I have a Wolf King GT Pro scooter I bought a few months ago but I recumbent bike, fixed gear bike, inline speed skate (yeah, the expensive ankeless ones with a lycra skin suit..I know), inline slalom freestyle skating. He says with my skating background I may pickup EUCs extremely quick. So, in anticipation I am shopping around in advance for a riding wheel for onroad mainly traveling probably no more than 50-60 miles per day at most probably and can support my weight of 220lbs - 240lbs. I fluctuate between winter and summer due to I hate biking and skating in the cold (cramp up a lot) and not a fan of gyms. I hear the S22 Eagle/Pro would work for me vs a Sherman-S. I also am big on safety. Top speed I do on my scooter is 35MPH..sometimes 40MPH. I expect not to exceed 30MPH on this. I'm 48 years old and looking into mainly city/urban riding.

Honestly, I never felt this pumped about a wheel. Maybe the T4 was close. I liked how Begode added some safety features to that one, but it had some issues which made me want to hold out. Unless we get some new announcements for some wheels in this S22 Pro class, this will probably be my next wheel. And the gold one makes it that much more awesome.

Kingsong are cheating S22 v1 owners. Dangerous Motor Stator errors, sliders and bolts sabotaging the suspension system. Kingsong are dishonest. Essential things like screws are of extremely bad quality. Pro might be better. In a review of the PRO version its relevant to tell potential buyers that Kingsong cheat their costumers. The PRO version Chooch recieved also litterally had loose screws. *uck Kingsong..

My first real unicycle!(first one was a cheap plastic one as a kid ruclips.net/user/postUgkx4e2fa6x27dF7shCelntq0ZIKt4N0jELI I never learned to ride)So, this is a true learner, and for a C note, exactly what was needed. After a few weeks, I'm able to easily ride up and down the street. The Good: Solid frame. Has absorbed numerous spills through learning and still solid. Look - great looks, after 6 weeks of bashing Weight - it's really all tire, but as I fall I can easily grab the seat so it doesn't slam the ground. Size - Very adjustable. I'm 6', 33" inseam. I put it mostly up, but could go a bit higher if I needed to. The Bad: Not sure if it's out of the norm, but seat got scraped up quickly. Pedals - they are a bit uncomfortable and I can't get the right feel on my feet. But, they are solid and haven't been damaged at all as I've seen in reviews on other cycle's.- To address one comment about the seat connection not straight. Huh? Seat is on a round pole, you just turn it and it's straight. Either of the bad I expected to replace once I improved. I'd recommend to anyone else in the learning phase.

@@MrJoneshari Man, it might be a struggle to learn on the s22. Good luck. It has this weight distribution that could be kinda confusing to learn proper euc balance. It's also tall/heavy. If you're gonna do it, wrap the wheel with some kind of protection, cause you will crash it a few times. Some parts are really brittle and could still break. I would suggest doing the same thing I did - rent a small wheel for a few days and do two or three 1hour sessions during each day, this is very effective. And once you get it, you just have it. for life. then you can return the rent wheel and go learn the s22. Imo having these two things separated ( learning euc vs learning s22) would be beneficial. but ofc do whatever works for you. let us know how it goes

@David Williams it's a really nice wheel, a bit of a heavy and big wheel for a first timer but I'm getting there. With a young family and a busy work schedule I'm struggling to find enough time to put the hours in.
      But the wheel is great.
I put after market pads on as the standard ones don't allow enough adjustment (in my opinion)

S22 Coil. Hey Chooch. Do you ride the stock coil?
After watching your reviews on the S22 I went and bought one.
I've done over 2700km in four months of owning it. It's a great wheel, just right for me. But......
It's really steep but rough here (just coming to the end of summer) and I started thinking about 'smoothing the ride'.
I know how my mountain bike should feel, my S22 feels a lot rougher.
I've done the aluminium slider mod (mine isn't a pro version) which made soooooo much difference.
I'm probably the same weight as you but with way less skill!
Do you have a suggestion for changing the coil or leave as it is and 'suck it up'!! :)
