I refuse to believe his endgmae or contingency plan for homelander that kept him so cool headed and unafraid of him was just newman like i really doubt is plan was expecting her powers to be enough i really hope in sesson 4 he comes back in some way maybe to help the boys by sharing his real endgame plan for homelander there is no way he can get bck to his position in vaught without taking out newman and i doubt he will attempt that himself he will probably give the boys a way to take down both newman and homelander and if not if him simply getting fired was the end of his time on the show then that was a huge waste of his character
