Han Seo Jung True, but I don't think it's a bad thing. His style reminds me a little bit of G-Dragon's, which does a good job of mixing Western and Eastern style. Which is kind of what CF is trying to do. People may frown upon it(I did, at first), but at least he's trying his best at what he loves :)

So much hate on this page. I'm personally one of those K-poppers that prefer to listen to straight up K-pop, and only K-pop. But there's a reason I only listen to it, and that reason is the same reason I stay away from A-Pop. Did I like this cover? No, not exclusively. But even if I am not truly a fan of Chad future, his effort is not easy to overlook. Going directly to his videos and calling him talentless is not the answer. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. What one person may think is certainly not the same as another. Also, Just because someone says they don't like Chad, doesn't mean that their racist. Fy Pink It's hard to translate from asian languages, since there's a great ridge between keeping the song's theme and translate it into actual lyrics that are singable in english... Although he may fail a bit here and there he deserves the best praises from all k, m and j pop fans, since this is probably the first real big step into showing the world the power of these singers, cause they are the best, even if they don't sing lyrics about swag and alcohol. Although of course you can't compare a "sort of homemade singer" with some folks who spent a lot of years practicing to become singers, so of course there are differences, but is there anyplace where differences don't exist?

I actually think this is really clever. I love how well put together it is. I love a bit of K-pop, and when someone makes the effort to do an English version, I think it must mean something to them, to take the time and effort to come up with lyrics to go along with the tune, and then to make a visual theme to go with it too. Sure some of his lyrics sound/are just like the original, but you try and compose a song; it's so DIFFICULT. Especially when it's practically a translation. I have to really applaud Chad and what he's doing. It certainly can't be easy to take a Song written in one language and then convert it into another, especially if you are trying to keep the general meaning of the song intact. Chad & these other talented artists, clearly appreciate K-pop are doing a great service by helping to spread it to an even wider audience.

Why is everyone hating on Chad :/ I just don't understand. He's got some mad talent, I mean even when he was first starting out with his covers you could tell he spent a lot of time producing just the songs, never mind the videos and the editing that goes into that! Even though there are some good covers out there that are just a person singing into their phone or a cheap microphone, it was nice to hear an actual produced and mixed cover. Even the comments back then were better! Everyone was always saying he had amazing talent and that he was one of the best cover artists in Kpop, but as soon as he decided to debut everyone started hating. Such a wishy-washy society we have.

I'm personally one of those K-poppers that prefer to listen to straight up K-pop, and only K-pop. But there's a reason I only listen to it, and that reason is the same reason I stay away from A-Pop. Did I like this cover? No, not exclusively. But even if I am not truly a fan of Chad future, his effort is not easy to overlook. Going directly to his videos and calling him talentless is not the answer. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. What one person may think is certainly not the same as another. Also, Just because someone says they don't like Chad, doesn't mean that their racist. They could simply not like him because of his style. Don't mistake talent and racism.
Even if it's a bad cover it's advertisement to K-Pop, so it ends up being a good thing, even if it sucks... Although I like it, but I prefer the original like yourself...
Fy Pink It's hard to translate from asian languages, since there's a great ridge between keeping the song's theme and translate it into actual lyrics that are singable in english... Although he may fail a bit here and there he deserves the best praises from all k, m and j pop fans, since this is probably the first real big step into showing the world the power of these singers, cause they are the best, even if they don't sing lyrics about swag and alcohol.
Although of course you can't compare a "sort of homemade singer" with some folks who spent a lot of years practicing to become singers, so of course there are differences, but is there anyplace where differences don't exist?

1. "EXO - "OVERDOSE" Chad Future English Remix (Feat. FutureLove)" This is a remix. So don't expect it to be perfect.
2. Imitation is the highest form of respect any individual can give. He didn't claim this song to be his own, but credits it appropriately by stating the band who created it "EXO".
3. If you enjoy doing something, you want to be the best at it, and why not learn from the masters?
4. What's with all the raging warfare? Just because he isn't Korean doesn't mean he is bad/crap. If anything, try and think rationally without bias over your beloved EXO group. I love EXO, but credit is due to those who deserve it, and the effort Chad mad, is more than any other cover I've seen.
5. He loves Kpop more than any of you haters do. Why? Because he researched into the genre, and he made the effort to learn their style and follow in their footsteps. What about you guys? I actually think this is really clever. I love how well put together it is. I love a bit of K-pop, and when someone makes the effort to do an English version, I think it must mean something to them, to take the time and effort to come up with lyrics to go along with the tune, and then to make a visual theme to go with it too. It certainly can't be easy to take a Song written in one language and then convert it into another, especially if you are trying to keep the general meaning of the song intact. Why is everyone hating on Chad :/ I just don't understand. He's got some mad talent, I mean even when he was first starting out with his covers you could tell he spent a lot of time producing just the songs, never mind the videos and the editing that goes into that! Even though there are some good covers out there that are just a person singing into their phone or a cheap microphone, it was nice to hear an actual produced and mixed cover. Even the comments back then were better! Everyone was always saying he had amazing talent and that he was one of the best cover artists in Kpop, but as soon as he decided to debut everyone started hating. Such a wishy-washy society we have.

I have been singing / rapping since 2003 actually! Started in high school musical theatre & learned how to write lyrics. I’m from Detroit Michigan and really got Inspired by Detroit artists like Eminem & Kid Rock. Loved music since a very early age & self taught myself how to record and produce. Been a long road of trail and error, practice and training. I love making music & video though, so it’s ultimately really rewarding 💯
