This is such a great addition to the barefoot options out there! I remember learning about the African Rangers about a year ago and being so tempted despite usually only wearing barefoot shoes. Seeing the development of a barefoot version is more than I could have hoped for! I am really looking forward to getting my hands on a pair of these and finally having a pair of barefoot boots that are rugged, well built, and resolable. Thanks for all your hard work!
Good day and Congratulations! Thanks for the great words and feedback, you are our winner of the Barefoot Jim Green Boots. We have been blown away by the support towards our Barefoot African Ranger and the donations to follow from the purchases shall go a long way for the Rangers, enjoy the journey ahead and we can't wait to hear the feedback. Please get in touch with jason@jimgreenfootwear.co.za and they shall assist further with getting the pair in your hands and on your feet.💪🐸
I love the fact that instead of creating a whole new boot you created a variation of popular boot to increase the market and reach out to wider audience.
Finally, my search is over! I'm pushing 73 years old. Both my grandfathers were boot makers; one from Germany, the other from Croatia. Both, along with my dad, have instilled in me the passion for quality foot wear and to avoid 97% of the garbage out there. As a believer in the 'barefoot' concept my search is over for the highest quality (unless you outdo yourself and I will be watching you) barefoot boot available. Thank you, from the bottom of my soles, for this long overdue boot. Respectfully, Tom
Hi Tom! Thank you for the great words and support. We look forward to the feedback ahead from your journey's with your Barefoot Rangers, we cannot wait to roll all the boots out onto feet! Enjoy the weekends adventures ahead and we are always a message away should you have any questions along the way! 💪
Can't wait to get mine. I was looking at ordering and problem waiting a few months for the next batch then one suddenly showed up on Ebay because it was slightly too small, 1 half size up which is perfect since I want to be able to put a buffalo felt insole for winter use. Should have them Friday, definitely excited.
These are great. As someone who exclusively wears barefoot shoes, these have ticked every box. I feel like y’all and Rose Anvil built a boot that the barefoot community will gravitate toward. Very practical, durable, flexible, rugged and stylish. I am definitely looking forward to the green variant as well!
We take huge pride in crafting Footwear with Attitude that is Built to Last, thanks for the great feedback and all the best for the Jim Green journey's ahead 🐸🐸
@@JimGreenFootwearOfficial when these will be available in EU? I see that there are the non-barefoot models still available but any eta on when the barefoot ones will be available?
@@DeniqueBeer Hello +1 for EU please. Also any Winter variant? I need me a pair of these! I also know 2 other people who would buy. I think your missing out on big business here!
I like that there’s a barefoot boot that actually seems to be made the same way a traditional boot is made rather than being super flimsy. Love the colors!
A lot of barefoot shoes are constructed more like sneakers than traditional dress shoes or boots. Even those that are marketed as either dress shoes or boots are constructed like sneakers more often than not. It's good to see a genuine barefoot boot hit the market. I hope this style of boot will remain a consistent item you keep available for sale.
As a carpenter, I've been looking for a boot like this for literally years. I've bought them all. Xero, Vivo, Lems - they just haven't been able to handle the work that I do for a living. These look so good! Can't wait to get a pair!!!
I like that you didn't compromise from the previous African Ranger design for the upper. It's a zero drop boot that looks good but also has thought put into the barefoot design. The sole pattern seems ideal after the tweak to the toe and heel. I love wearing my Red Wing Iron Rangers, but unless I'm actually working in them, I often don't like wearing them because of the size of the heel. I look forward to giving these a go instead. I've got a feeling they will be much better for casual everyday wear.
Same I was about to buy another pair of lems boulder but leather and the canvas chukka but not now. I may by a second pair just for hiking as well. I'm pretty sure these our going to be that awesome.
Have you looked at Senmotic? Quite good quality german shoes that looks nice. I have one of the winter shoes that are nice shoes although the winter intended is probably european continent winter not nordic winter like we have in the north of Sweden. 🙂
Hi. I am wearing a black African Ranger boots now. I have a foot arch fitted into the boots made by an Orthidic and Prothesis due to my foot pain. Just wondering if I can wear my foot arch in the Jim Green bare foot range. Jack.
I shared this comment on Rose Anvil, but figured it couldn't hurt to share it here as well: I just placed my order for the Barefoot Boots plus a Freedom Bracelet! Went back-and-forth on the boot color, but ultimately went with Fudge for its patina factor. Huge kudos to Jim Green for reaching out to Rose Anvil, for being open to creating a pretty significant variation on a core product, and for taking the financial risk on pre-manufacturing a reasonably large run of these boots. And huge kudos as well to Weston at Rose Anvil for making such great choices on this boot! As many other commenters have noted, this is exactly what I've been looking for for some time-a genuine work boot that's anatomically shaped and features no heel-ball offset. Thank you to Jim Green and Rose Anvil for bringing this product into the world! Finally, a big thanks to Jim Green as well for continuing to work with the GRAA to get quality boots to rangers on the front lines of vital conservation efforts!🙌🏻
Thanks for the epic feedback and support! We have had a great time and journey getting these boots to their final product with the Rose Anvil team. We cannot wait to see the unique adventures the Barefoot Rangers head out on across the world in the near future. A huge thank you to all our customers in the community that have supported the #BootsForRangers campaign as this would not be possible without the immense support from each and every purchase of the African Ranger style💪 Enjoy the weekends adventures ahead 🐸🐸
That olive green leather is gorgeous and makes the design really pop - goes so beautifully with the green shoelaces. I'm thrilled you have included smaller sizes for women in the range available in South Africa.
+1 on the olive green leather-please do offer the African Ranger Barefoot in that color! I just ordered a pair in Fudge, and those Olive Greens would be a fantastic complement when I want to mix things up a bit.
Thanks for the great words and feedback! Along with the smaller sizes we are working on our new and improved ladies range, which shall be hitting the store in the near future!🐸 Enjoy the weekend ahead and we are always happy to assist should you have any questions along the way 💪
@@JimGreenFootwearOfficial I love my Vibram FiveFingers. I don't love it when thorns etc poke between the toes. I'm loving my Monster Boots ( size 4 - my lucky find from over a year ago) and Monster Stockmans but the Stockmans are a size 5 and too big to wear without at least two layers of thick socks. This isn't ideal for the hot weather now.
Came her after watching Rose Anvil's video and I have to say I'm truly impressed by the quality of the boot and to see it work in such a great way in real life conditions. I love the no-nonsense construction of the shoes: simply great materials put together in a very smart fashion. It's also great that these are barefoot which is just the icing onthe cake for those of us looking for great boots but wanting to avoid the 10mm+ heel to toe drops. Thanks for this much needed product! Keep up the great work!
For years, I've been on the hunt for a reasonably priced zero drop style boot that's well-crafted, and stumbling upon one from one of my favorite brands feels like a dream come true! The sturdy sole construction, the gorgeous olive green leather, and the commitment to quality from Jim Green are all things I truly appreciate. Keep up the fantastic work!
Thank you for creating this pair of boots. I've placed an order today and I can't wait to receive them to try them on. They seem to be rugged, comfortable and to be honest quite good looking. You convinced me! And for me it's also very important: barefoot! :)
Personally I've run into problems with standard boots due to my flat arch and wide feet. Barefoot boots seems to relieve both these issues and you folks over at Jim Green have done a lovely job making not only a good looking boot, but a functional one for the type of terrain it's needed for. Fantastic work!👍
As a delivery driver for UPS, I walk a LOT. I love my African Rangers, but the only downside is how fast the sole wears when walking on pavement. Just ordered a pair of Baobabs because they seemed like a good compromise with cushion and a harder rubber outsole.
I've been looking for a well-made affordable zero drop style boot for years, and seeing one made by one of my favorite brands is a dream come true! A hearty sole construction, the beautiful olive green leather, and the Jim Green promise of quality. Keep up the great work!
I love it. These could very well push my Lem's Boulder Boot Mid-Leather out of rotation. My only fear is they could push out my standard African Rangers too!
Just bought my first pair of African Rangers 2 months ago and they've been great. These barefoot boots look good, I may have to snag a pair of these as well,
Preserving the silhouette of the upper is really great to see. Both models feel like they have such a utilitarian, no frills, heritage design that makes them feel like they don't *belong* on the trail. It's a sharp looking shoe, and for the humanitarian efforts the brand is involved with, its really difficult to not want a pair around town as well and explain the story behind them.
These are actually a great blend of quality boots, with quality materials, and a low profile sneaker. I hope we get to see the original African Ranger boots improve on the inner construction details like these ones have!
You guys finally did what a lot of us barefooters have been wanting for years. A great looking well made durable barefoot boot! I purchased a pair today as soon as I could and can’t wait to start breaking them in.
You guys are amazing. On my round the world motorcycle ride in 2016 i got to SA and my friend was wearing a pair of your boots. I asked him about them as I've always liked good boots and he told me everything about what you do, which blew me away. After 8 days staying with the family he then surprised me with my own pair. I was blown away with his generosity, I wore them every day for nearly 3 years until they were sadly stolen in Australia. I can't wait to get another pair now I'm in New Zealand and mainly this new pair as i recently had major foot surgery (4 ligaments, 1 tendon and some bone ground out) and barefoot boots will help immensely according to my surgeon.
Thanks for making the boots, they look great. The whole category of zero-drop boots needs to have more choices. Looking forward to trying them on at some point in the future. Best wishes Hope they sell well. Rose Anvil I trust and by association, I am a lot more willing to try Jim Green.
I prefer to have a heel on my boots, but I‘m glad to see Jim Green advancing the brand and adding more leather to the sole construction. Looking forward to see what the future brings.
Why does a barefoot shoe built for hiking still have to be able to fold in half? I hiked the Appalachian Trail and alot of others. My biggest foot discomfort is rocks punching up thru my running shoes and making my feet sore. I can’t imagine doing 14 mile days… Day after day through the Pennsylvania rocks… Or up here in Alaska on rocky trails, With a 30 to 40 pound pack, and not just feeling like your feet are getting horribly abused in these boots. So, I guess what I’m wondering is… it seems like hyper flexibility of the sole is an essential component of a barefoot shoe. But what if you made a zero drop shoe that actually had good underside foot protection by using a steel shank. That would not be a barefoot shoe, but you still could call it a zero drop shoe. because, the feature of these, that I really like most, bio dynamically, is zero drop. I want zero drop to get my calves, stretched out, prevent lordosis, and protect my low back. But I also want to be able to wear these as a legitimate hiking boot. I don’t think the test he is doing here can be generalized to hiking across-the-board. He’s talking about stepping on pebbles… But in a trail that looks very dusty and sandy in general. When you’re walking across the spines of mountains… You’re almost always on rocks. So, I would prefer to try a zero drop shoe that had more protection like a shank. I kind of feel like they’re mashing together the idea of barefoot with zero drop.
@@gat569 I'm sure you are aware that these boots are made for African rangers, not Alaskan rangers. You have to see the boots through that specific lens.
@@RictorIAG mmm... you think? I think that these boots are heavily influenced and designed (in the sole for sure) by Rose Anvil as a way to appeal to the barefoot shoe craze in North America. I think that they "may" appeal to African Rangers but I have to wonder if the Rangers would primarily be picking the other Ranger boot with the more traditional sole with thicker heel. I don't think that barefoot boot, as designed, is going to be as durable or comfortable for heavy equipment hauling or long treks over difficult terrain. But, it's hard for me to be certain as I don't know what footwear they are used to and maybe they prefer barefoot types (and now that that boot type is available). Jim Green probably has that data. I'm pretty sure the barefoot boot is called an "African Rangers" because it has almost the same upper/shares the lineage/and it's good branding for sales purposes. But what the Rangers actually tend to wear... I don't know. And is Jim Green sending the rangers the regular or the Barefoot when they send the free pair (for 10 purchased)? There is a lot more than just one lens. And my lens would like a shank in the sole. LOL.
@@gat569 I have used aftermarket spring steel insoles in my work boots to protect against nails while working construction. The insoles come coated in a layer of firm rubber and I add a felt insole on top to wick away sweat.
I bought my first pair of African Rangers last year in South Africa and they quickly became my favorite boot. They’ve taken quite a beating across America and now they fit like a glove on my foot. I’m currently breaking in my buffalo skin African Rangers, which I didn’t think Jim Green would be able to to make the African Ranger a more perfect boot. I was mistaken when I learned about the barefoot African Ranger. I’m so glad Jim Green has joined the barefoot market and can actually put out tough, high-quality boots. I’m excited to see more barefoot boot variations from Jim Green in the future!
Never tried any barefoot boots before, I am guessing they are awesome for sand walking, I really like the new soles., my soles on my buffalo rangers get pretty slippery when wet, maybe these soles will cure the slick feeling I am really looking forward to using Jim green on safari, chasing buffalo around the bush then looking for kudu and eland in Namibian hills Hopefully we see y’all at the Dallas safari club convention to show off your beautiful safari foot wear
i have never owned a zero drop shoe, and after watching rose anvil about them and then this one. I do think this zero drop is the best option. so if i ever choose to get a zero drop it would be a jim green boot.
Thanks for the interest! As we establish more as a brand we are looking into ways to make Jim Green boots readily available in the UK and world wide 🐸💪
I have never in my life done so much research before buying a shoe and this one hits just right! I am extremely excited to see this boot launch and cannot wait for it to be available in smaller UK sizes for women. I am super sold on the color and style and very proud that this is a South African product with such an amazing purpose behind it. Well done Jim Green!!
Thank you for the support and feedback! 💪 We are currently working on a new and improved ladies line, we look forward to getting this range into hands and onto feet in the near future!
Your thorn tests were impressive, and a bit scary, too! As a youngster on the island of Oahu, I went mainly barefoot, even in school, till we were required to wear shoes from the 6th grade on. It would be fun to wear a pair of these and see how I do in them!
Love that you guys are so happy to take risks and experiment with new styles despite being a relatively small brand. And nice to see you keep catering for more niche parts of the footwear market - first with the emphasis on wider fits and now experimenting with barefoot styles as well. Genuinely really excited to see what you guys come up with next.
I love small brands because they are not yet corporate minded and still actually care about their products and their customers. I noticed that once a brand go corporate then that's it, quality falls and they go cheap on anything they could shave off from the product. What's worse is they increase the price because it was featured by some celebrity and after they shave off the quality of the products! It is as if they use the money they should use on the product on marketing to pay off those celebs that couldn't care less about the product!
Absolutely love this. Barefoot shoes seems like a great consept but durability was my biggest concern regarding other brands. The leather mid sole and the bit thicker outsole looks like its goijg to deliver great comfort while beeing durable and rugged. Great job!
This boot fills a void that has been missing! So many of us have been waiting for a boot exactly like this. If this does as well as I think it will, releasing a version with a safety toe for industry workers would be amazing.
Seen these on Rose Anvil the other day and came over to your channel to check them out. These boots look amazing, and I think they would be awesome here in the Texas heat. I generally wear barefoot and/or zero drop shoes but have had trouble finding a quality zero drop boot. I'd like to try a pair someday. And thank your company for taking a chance to collaborate and make these. Such a great company.
This looks so nice. They look extremely comfortable, especially in the toe box. I can see getting these for work, which only requires indoor walking. I usually use Puma flat sneakers (I forget the model) or some Timberland waterproof boots when it rains.
wow, I do like the thinking behind these boots and the implementation I am experienced with the benifts of the barefoot shoes (for me one big benifit was the stimulation of my foot sole reversed the lack of feeling that came from years of having to wear safety boots with a no feel stiff sole for work) - There are posture and gait benifits that come from the no rise sole - one thing that no one talks of is that the lack of "high heel" makes for a much better driving experience for the feet - One more thing that no one talks of is that the confined space manoverability of the no rise (lack of heel) footware provides. I like that your boot has the toung sewn all the way up (The lack of this was always an annoyance and seen as a missed opportunitity tor the lack of design optimisation for other boots) I like the fully flexible sole with no shank Thankyou
I ride horses and endurance race horseback. Because you spend a lot of time off and on the horse running or "Tailing" up steep terrain. This boot looos like a good choice. It's not wide or to deep of a lug on the sole. I'm a US size 11 and I tend to get hung up getting in and out of the stirrup. I had a pair of boots made by Ariat called the Endurance boot. It was comfortable but fell apart really quickly and wasn't rebuildable.
I would have never thought to use a barefoot shoe when riding because of worry about feet going through the stirrup and getting caught up. Is that really a concern, or do you use those breakaway stirrups? I'm super curious.
I ride in Endurance stirrups that are 4" deep with Tapaderos. So not a problem. Definitely wouls be in English stirrups and, some western stirrups. Some western stirrups like an Ox Bow are Specifically designed to lock your heels in. Then however, you end up in danger of getting hung up if you fall off. Everything is a compromise. It just depends on your priorities.
Im so glad you made these! Such a unique offering to the boot/barefoot world. I was looking to snatch up a pair but I’m too late as they are already sold out. Looks like Jim Green has a winner.
Thanks for the support! Our original stock sent over was around 600 pairs, we shall have more barefoot boots heading over around January, you are able to place pre-orders on the US site💪💪
I’ve been needing a wide barefoot style boot for winter. The rest of the year I wear shamma sandals and my feet just hate being smushed in regular shoes. Got my a pair a few days ago and they work great!
Looks like these will be great hiking boots for a person who likes barefoot shoes, doesn't want an old-school clunky hiking boot, but, also doesn't quite want to go to a sneaker-like trail shoe.
This comment section shows how big the interest for this boot is. I already put my pre order in, but would love a pair for my father. I think the design is so thoughtful and the only thing I would suggest is giving lace color options. Looking forward to getting mine. Good luck to keeping up with the demand, cheers
Love how these boots are barefoot as there aren't enough barefoot boots out there in the market, the next closest one being from Bearfoot which is almost double in price. Also love your confidence in the puncture resistance of the shoe when you kept the shoe on whilst trying to pierce it with the thorns haha, shows that you really believe in your product.
Good price, Tuff as can be, and looks better than all barefoot boots out there. Need I say more.? YES, I DO! I wish these would of been out before I spent my hard earned money on a barefoot boot. Good Job Jim Green Boots.
These look super interesting, really hopeful I can get a pair of these soon. I've wanted to get into barefoot shoes but most are wildly unattractive. These seem super practical but also look fantastic. Great work!
I'm super happy that you and rose anvil teamed for this model! You've basically made the barefoot boot I've been wanting! It's more affordable, better looking, and better built than anything else I've seen on the market! I'll definitely be picking up a pair of these
Thank you for making wide toe box boots with leather soles. Not that many companies make a boot like that which makes it difficult to find good boots that fit right. Keep up the good work!
Another great boot, I'm sure, but now I'm forced to decide which color to choose from. That's a good spot to be in because, as with my other Jim Greens, I know the boot will last far beyond my expectations. JG boots/vellies are the only thing that goes on my feet, besides socks. Well done JG and Gareth!!
I've spent countless hours researching hiking boots. I really wanted something that was barefoot but it could withstand any terrain and weather without falling apart. I am excited for these boots!
I am about to switch to the barefoot experience exclusively, here in India, finding good reliable and economical barefoot shoes is almost impossible. These look so nice, rugged and long-lasting! Only request would be different colour options as well!
These boots seem to be a dream come true. I have been wearing zero drop shoes for years but have yet to find a sturdy, comfortable zero drop boot. These boots check all the boxes for me, I can't wait to get my hands on a pair. Well done!!
These boots are amazing they are rugged and off support in every way possible, all for an extremely low price compared to the rest of the market. I've only been searching for high quality boots for a short while now and Jim Green were immediately on my radar with their great reviews and pricing. I haven't tested any barefoot concept shoes but with these boots coming out I might dip my toe.
Constructive comment. Hey, you said to add a constructive comment! I have several of the boot styles and a couple pairs of Vellies. I would like to try these barefoot boots too. Looks like they might be good when I need to walk on the roof; should get a good grip and not damage shingles.
I've always been intrigued by barefoot but been put off by barefoot shoes due to their flimsiness and lack of durability/repairability. Jim Green/Rose Anvil have sorted all that. Great looking boot, nailed it.
Looks like a very good boot in all equalities for the job it's meant for. As someone who does fire watch and is constantly on my feet, it's affordable, lightweight, and flexible construction is exactly what is needed for that job. Hope you continue making and interating
I am personally a big fan of this boot, and I always wished that Jim Greens would make a barefoot boot. Now here we are. I love to see the effort you've put into the design and testing of this boot. I'll make sure to get a pair in the near future.
I'm really excited about these. It makes me very happy that there is someone making high quality, barefoot boots in South Africa. And at a really good price. I can't wait to buy a pair!
These are awesome, I bought a preorder pair and having walked for weeks and weeks daily, I can say they are perfect hike/daily boot, and even offer a nice quiet step, perhaps because of the flexability they seem quieter than your typical boot.
I have always loved handmade leather stitchdown-construction boots and fell in love with the Jim Green Razorbacks the first time I saw them in a outdoor shop. Not only does Jim Green make excellent boots at an affordable price when compared to international hand-made leather boot brands such as Nicks and Red Wings, they also continually innovate and come up with new products and variations. The barefoot African Ranger is a perfect example of this where they took a popular boot and gave it a barefoot makeover, which if you are not aware is very sought after in the barefoot community. I could be mistaken but these are possibly the only stitchdown-construction leather barefoot outdoor boots available on the market, and if there are more, they would be significantly more expensive. Well done Jim Green on creating another amazing boot which I am sure will make a number of people very happy!
I found one alternative, the Bearfoot Bruin boot, which is also a leather stitchdown-construction outdoor boot and as I guessed it is double the price at R4772 or $250.
What a great design and purpose, I’m enchanted! Not only do I intend to purchase these boots, but the scope of this project and the creative design has made me a customer for life. Thank you!
I have been wearing barefoot shoes for 10+ years and have had a difficult time finding a zero drop boot that I liked besides Lems. These look like they are made with better materials and check a lot more of the boxes I am looking for. I watched the review on Rose Anvil and I cannot wait to try out a pair for myself.
Love the look of this boot! I’ve always preferred walking shoes with flat soles. I’m going to have to give these boots a try. I think the zero drop along with ruggedness of a boot will give me the best of both worlds. Keep up the good work!!!
The ARBF appears to be the toughest barefoot boot! I'm a US Wildlife Refuge Ranger and have been wearing the Vivo Tracker, and the sole is detaching after 5 months. ❤ the African Game Ranger support! Good work!
I was so excited when I stumbled on the unboxing/cut in half video! I've always been a boot guy and my last quality pair were finally retired in 2018 when I was living off grid in the Colorado desert in southern California. If I wasn't literally barefoot, I was wearing my boots without socks and loose laces. Although, I did make my own pair of super thin sandals which lasted exactly one summer of extensive walking/running through the desert terrain. My feet adapted to this so quickly and happily that nearly every boot I've tried since then has simply been too rigid, heavy, and restricting, especially on my toes. Furthermore, when I began traveling again, the need to keep my belongings to a minimum meant that everything I own needs to be every bit as natural, durable, and flexible as I am! I was considering the Barefoot Bruins, but with a boot checking every one of my boxes for the perfect boot PLUS under $200 PLUS donations to South African rangers, how could I say no?!
This might be the most well thought out barefoot boot or boot in general I've seen featured on Rose Anvil. My only suggestion would be to offer more colors!
Saw these on rose anvils channel looks like a great collab!! I want the original African rangers but I'm still saving for them, looks like I'll need a tad bit more saving to get these, unless I win

Love it. Can’t wait for those green ones!
A huge thank you to all our customers in the community that have supported the #BootsForRangers campaign as this would not be possible without the immense support from each and every purchase of the African Ranger style💪 Enjoy the weekends adventures ahead 🐸🐸
whats crazy is this risk played off insane, not even two weeks and theyre all gone.
@@zzzetsuliverisky yes...but not really considering the competition isn't doing anything close :)
Got a pair of these and liked them so much that I got a pair of conventional AR's a week later. Heckuva value in a boot!
@@JimGreenFootwearOfficialyes please! Andnif would keep these in the line up for ladies I know I will appreciate it. :)
I love these! Was really wanting a barefoot boot but couldn’t find anything worth my money until now!
I've made my own barefoot sandals and really enjoy them. I really like these boots!
Finally a real work boot Barefoot was born. Or how the traditional should be designed
💪💪
Looks great
I hope to get one of these on my country Chile.
Wow. This is pretty exciting. Ive wanted some affordable zero drop workboots forever. I also think the history and mission of Jim Green is great.
Fantastic work!👍
🐸💪🐸
How are they so far
I'm always in the market for barefoot boots that look great.
Never thought I would like boots like this. I must say I am intrigued. Love the nice leather midsole! Or maybe it’s an insole.
Thanks for making the boots, they look great. The whole category of zero-drop boots needs to have more choices. Looking forward to trying them on at some point in the future. Best wishes Hope they sell well. Rose Anvil I trust and by association, I am a lot more willing to try Jim Green.
Already ordered mine can’t wait to try it out on the trails and town!
@@koopdi oh wow! that's an interesting idea! I"d never heard of those.
Never tried any barefoot boots before, I am guessing they are awesome for sand walking, I really like the new soles., my soles on my buffalo rangers get pretty slippery when wet, maybe these soles will cure the slick feeling
I am really looking forward to using Jim green on safari, chasing buffalo around the bush then looking for kudu and eland in Namibian hills
Hopefully we see y’all at the Dallas safari club convention to show off your beautiful safari foot wear
I would so buy these in green!
I know what my next pair of boots will be.
i have never owned a zero drop shoe, and after watching rose anvil about them and then this one. I do think this zero drop is the best option. so if i ever choose to get a zero drop it would be a jim green boot.
Love that they are protective as well as healthy for the foot and posture. Please make these available in the UK
Yes. That would be great.
I like how confident you are in the durability of the sole of your boot.
Can’t wait to see what you guys do with this boot in the future! Would love to see a waterproof version
wow, I do like the thinking behind these boots and the implementation
I am experienced with the benifts of the barefoot shoes (for me one big benifit was the stimulation of my foot sole reversed the lack of feeling that came from years of having to wear safety boots with a no feel stiff sole for work)
- There are posture and gait benifits that come from the no rise sole
- one thing that no one talks of is that the lack of "high heel" makes for a much better driving experience for the feet
- One more thing that no one talks of is that the confined space manoverability of the no rise (lack of heel) footware provides.
I like that your boot has the toung sewn all the way up (The lack of this was always an annoyance and seen as a missed opportunitity tor the lack of design optimisation for other boots)
I like the fully flexible sole with no shank
Thankyou
I love these, as someone with wide feet i have trouble find comfortable yet lightweight boots! Hoping to get these soon.🙏🏼
Just preordered a pair. I have been a fan of barefoot style shoes for a long time so once I found out about these boots it was a no brainer.
I'm SOOO excited to see these boots. I love the fudge color. I have a pair of Stockmans in the same color! Love them!
Man this boots are awesome i need to have them !
Im so glad you made these! Such a unique offering to the boot/barefoot world. I was looking to snatch up a pair but I’m too late as they are already sold out. Looks like Jim Green has a winner.
Thanks for the support! Our original stock sent over was around 600 pairs, we shall have more barefoot boots heading over around January, you are able to place pre-orders on the US site💪💪
i personally will be buying a pair. you just sold me on these.
Right?! I was shocked he left his foot in! Turned out well though. Lol
Good price, Tuff as can be, and looks better than all barefoot boots out there. Need I say more.? YES, I DO! I wish these would of been out before I spent my hard earned money on a barefoot boot. Good Job Jim Green Boots.
It is so great to see you guys branch out into this space, this kind of innovation suits your brand so well. Looking forward to more collabs!
I'll definitely be picking up a pair of these
I'm glad to see a zero-drop shoe that is resoleable. And the veg tan is a nice touch.
Thank you for making wide toe box boots with leather soles. Not that many companies make a boot like that which makes it difficult to find good boots that fit right. Keep up the good work!
Boots look awesome! Love the field test as well, awesome to see barefoot shoes and boots become more popular.
I don’t even own a pair just yet and they’re already my favorite new boot! These are going to be a absolute game changer!
The flex on these is crazy. Would be perfect for long days doing ranch work out in the Rockies!
Well done!!
Just placed my order for a pair, it will be worth the wait!
These look great
Excellent work guys, another great addition to the Jim Green range
I love the original ranger. The barefoot model seems like a lighter weight option for any hike. Looking forward to my pair arriving.
These look great. I hope the green leather option makes its way into general production!
Appears to be a very well crafted and healthy boot option. I've pre-ordered and looking forward to trying them out.
Saw these on rose anvils channel looks like a great collab!! I want the original African rangers but I'm still saving for them, looks like I'll need a tad bit more saving to get these, unless I win
Great simple design. Using quality materials. Glad to see these are available at an affordable price as well. Looking forward to future colors.
