A quick look at the specs may make you think both the Viking Kestrel 8x42 ED and the Viking Peregrine 8x42 ED are similar. But that is soon forgotten when you look through them, with the Peregrine's giving a flatter field with less CA.
But that is not saying the Kestrel ED are poor. In their price range, they are a cracking set of binoculars.
Both these options are suitable for bird watching. Just depends on which suits your budget.

Hi, good review. How do the kestrel and Merlin compare to hawke nature and endurance? Thanks

Kestrel , Merlin and Endurance all better than the Nature trek. Endurance 42mm currently out of stock. Nothing to choose between the Kestrel and Merlin in optics, but the Merlin has better build quality. Both Merlin's and Kestrels available from our website. Thanks for watching

How do peregrine compare against hawk frontier ed ?

Depends which Frontier ED you mean. The EDX or APO . Compared to the EDX, they are quite different in every way. The Peregrine has a slightly brighter image with a flatter field and is lighter. The EDx has (in my opinion) a little less CA off centre, wider FOV and a life time warranty.
