It's crazy that he played Loak when 16-17 years old and when the movie out, after 6 years, he's 22 and have changed a lot. Loak looks like him at the young ages.

Thank God for this interview. We rarely see him in long interviews nowadays. This shows how well-spoken our Lo'ak is.
Kudos also to the interviewer for listening attentively and for the friendly affirmations and sensible follow-up questions.
Yeah I wanna know what happened to him. If you watch the few interviews he’s done for avatar 2 he’s very nervous and his speech is not organized like it is here. It’s like he’s a different person. I wasn’t particularly drawn to his character at all in avatar two though I thought the movie was spectacular. He seems charismatic and intelligent in this interview and I hope we can get more of that in avatar 3.

From what I hear he developed severe social anxiety issues since the time I interviewed him. That might explain why he is now nervous about talking to interviewers. I guess I was lucky to have chatted with Britain back when he was a lot more approachable.

Just watched Avatar: The Way of Water around two weeks ago. It was so amazing and beautiful, but it was also so intense. Lo’ak is definitely one of my favorite characters. I loved the movie so much, can’t wait for the next Avatar movies!💙💙

Thanks for sharing the interview and replying to our comments. It’s great to see Britain was so spirited and happy. I just thought Britain was too shy and introverted so he was absence in recent interviews. But I’m sorry for knowing that he has anxiety problem😢Before I thought he looked like Lo’ak, now his personalities are also like Lo’ak. Just hope he can be better. Really love Lo’ak😔

If you can find Britain dalton anywhere could you interview him again 2023 because I haven’t seen any interview except this one thanks.
As I understand it, Britain today has developed social anxiety issues, So he's not doing interviews anymore. Even the supposed "interviews" he did for Avatar: The Way of Water was actually a generic interview video that the studio shared to a bunch of outlets, so it was not really exclusive per se.

Good question. But he's reportedly playing a character named Lo'ak in Avatar sequel, which I'm guessing is a character that's part of the Na'vi. Either way, I'm stoked to watch it. And thank you for watching my video interview with Britain.

@@arlenne92 Yeah, it is indeed weird why he wasn't at the premiere. But he is in the movie as one of the NaVi.

In one of the James Cameron's interviews he explained that none of the younger actors were contractually obligated to promote the movie and so because he's more of a reserved person Britain Dalton has opted to not be a part of the promotion of the movie :)
Britain was at the premiere! He's just chosen not to do the major press promotions. James Cameron has said that Britain is a shy person, and that's why he's not in as many promotions. He's choosing not to be in the spotlight as much apart from his acting, and I respect that, especially as a fellow introvert with anxiety. I can't imagine the pressure. Introverts and also Neurodivergents have lower social batteries, but they engage fully with the projects that they connect with. It definitely seems Britain is under thus category. Good for him for looking out for himself and only doing what works for him. The singer Sia never tours or does promotions for her music due to her anxiety. Perhaps we will see this more and more as a trend as time goes on. Lots of negatives in the entertainment industry, and I think it's wise to shelter yourself. Lo'ak is my fave new character, and Britain's acting was incredible. Props to him as an artist. He reminds me of Johnny Depp, in thst Johnny is actually very shy too. I hope Britain stays out of the limelight if it's what's best for his emotional well-being and mental health. I'm excited for part 3 of Avatar! Just saw part 2 last night!
