Love this guy, have really been missing him these past 10 years because I haven't seen him in anything since Wrath of the Titans. Its good to have him back.
I think he's made the choice himself to step back from frequent acting. But he is a very good actor. In the Avatar clip that was shown with Zoe's appearance on The Tonight Show, when Sam says, "He had our children, he had 'em under his knife!" it really blows me away. Just an incredible scene from the both of them, the clip here is a continuation of that scene.
I wanna say yes but at the same time. This man is literally in the biggest movie of all time. If you see him you just literally know where he’s from. And the fact there’s a second part is just even more revenue to his name

It's crazy how the first Avatar still holds up, I went to watch it when it was re-released a few weeks ago, and I was thinking "This still looks better than the movies being made today 13 years later" and then came the preview for the sequel and I was blown away but how much better it looks compared to the first Avatar, it's a major improvement over something that already looked perfect. James Cameron is such a gift to cinema. He outdid himself when no one else could even match what he has done in 2009. Insane.
That's true of a lot of great movies. The original Jurassic Park dinosaurs hold up well against a lot of what comes out today even, because of how much work they put in blending them seamlessly with the environment around them.
Some of Avatar holds up. Other scenes, not so much. Thinking of scenes of the base that look very much like a video game cut scene. Not actively bad, just not cinematic. The 3D was very good, though.
I've seen him do so many American accented roles, I can't believe he's Australian... Mason is one of my favorite characters of all time and his voice acting is truly incredible AND unique

The way everybody in the film talks about how it's story and meaning is very emotional. None of them even discusses (unless asked) the films cutting edge effects. This tells the movie would be beyond awesome.
The look on Sam's face when he watched the scene. There are actors that can't stand watching themselves on screen. He seemed like he was one of them! HAHAHA! Seriously.... I can't wait to see Avatar 2. James Cameron's track record with sequels is 100%! I hope this does well in theaters because I want more Avatar movies!

You just have to see this movie for the first time in Imax 3D. A beautiful, touching film with a message, the effects in the next Avatar once again set new boundaries of cinematography. We left the cinema delighted, I was additionally sore from the not very comfortable seats and with aching knees from the small amount of space between the rows, but it was worth it!
I remember watching part 1 at the theater, it was my very first 3D movie and I was so amazed how it looked, and it was such a good movie. Can’t wait to see this one and I think it’s only right that Sam Worthington is on part 2

Sam is an incredibly low key Aussie treasure. His performance as Marcus Wright I think is my favourite. This relatively unassuming guy has such massive screen presence!

You can go to ODEON Luxe their seats are pretty comfy, but tickets are more expensive. They only have reclining seats for every cinema

The crazy thing about The Way of Water is, Sam's character--good as it is--isn't even the best one. The entire cast gave incredible performances.
