RUclips what is up guys today I got a sick bass I scored on EBAY for cheap. This is an Ibanez SR500 Bass guitar. This normally retails for $599 but I got a broken one on ebay for $212 and decided to fix it up good as new. This is now my new favorite bass and my nicest one too. That looks sick. Shame about that figured wood being cracked at the control cavity, it's gorgeous. If you have to ever re-do it you might be able to get a good two tone tint burst and just push the black border in more.
I've been lookin at those $50 ChIbanez RG clones on amazon and now I'm wanting to hydrodip them fr now 👀
rewire as coil split, swap controls for bourns/switchcraft, copper tape the entire pickup and control cavity, offbrand graphite nut, and a level / fret dress for those smooth hotdog ends and you'd have a good guitar for under a benjamin

I love projects but not much of a steal at that price. They sell used in perfect condition for not much more, I got mine less than year ago in GC... 3 yrs old hardly used $300. They had one not long ago used in perfect cond for a couple of bucks more. Great video though and good luck with your find!
