My Aunt was a hoarder and when she passed away, her kids found $11,000 in her piles of paperwork. I would take the paperwork and put it in tubs or boxes and go through it down the road, just in case there's any valuables hidden in there. You guys are kicking BUTT!! well done!!!!!! Love this house!!!!!
Yes!! Definitely check before tossing!! We found thousands of dollars hidden in books after my grandfather died.....just random $20 bills tucked into the pages. You never know unless you check. 😊
My friend found a good amount of money in an old roaster in a cupboard on the bottom shelf in the back. I guess people from a certain time didn't trust the banks..
I bought a property with a boarded up mobile home. My family wanted to and did, shovel it into a dumpster. One day after they left, I went into a room they had partially cleared and found bags of silver. Who knows what was thrown away. It is hard, but be careful how you clear a house.
5:33 The book on the top of the pile is called "Superheroes: The Heroic Visions of Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell" Boris is one of the top five scifi/fantasy artists in the world. His wife Julie Bell is in the top twenty. In episode one of this revival series, you had a image of Iron-Man that was painted by Julie Bell. I think you said it was signed. The previous homeowner would have to had to have purchased the poster from a dealer at a convention or from Bell herself. From these items, the posters around the house and the movies he collected, I would guess that he might have a few sci/fi/fantasy paper collectibles that could be worth something. Also, as a general rule, comics pre-1990 should be looked at CLOSELY. DVDs should be studied as well. Look up the most expensive DVDs. Good luck! Loving the series so far!
It was pretty common in Restaurants in some parts of Europe back in the 60s and 70s. Came in either yellow or green. I guess it's meant to look vaguely mediaeval and rustic.
The light and Christmas tree really adds life to the place. It’s coming along even though there is so much to do. One step at a time, you all are doing great!
It just occurred to me in regards to the burn band. Why don’t you get the fireplace operational and burn unwanted paperwork burned in the fireplace? Possibly have a chimney sweep clean the chimney to be on the safe side. The round magnifying light is for working on electronic circuit boards.
It was so nice to see the porch light on & the snow ambience. Love watching you guys! So excited to see the progress.❤

Check in all the books also!
Down the road, you might consider metal detecting the property. You absolutely will find some interesting and valuable items. Great episode!
I'm looking forward to that kitchen cleanup. Good job. Merry Christmas. 🎄
Happy holidays!
Happy to know that ya'll will be recycling in a good way and not dumping everything!! Enjoying your redo!
Congrats on hooking up electric! The clutter in the house bothers me so much, I want to help you clean it😉
Starting with some safe electrical is very smart and not at all out of order on a project this large. Bravo.

It’s going to be a big clean out job but the house it self is gorgeous can’t wait to see who it all turns out.
Man, I wish I could help. Keep up the great you busy elves. Merry christmas to all.
Next year we will see beautiful warm lights and a grand Christmas tree from all the windows!
Keep up the good work! Getting a fireplace going would be great in this bitter cold.

Keep up the amazing work! So excited to see what y'all turn this home into! I look forward to each Sunday's episode.
Thank you so much
Hubby grew up near Rochester, NY. He remembers a steakhouse with similar glass that is in the slidding door.

I have the twin to that big desk. I also had the twin to the wooden office chair but it was too uncomfortable to sit in all day.
I just ran across your channel and am enjoying all the work inside and out. I would like to see it all also try using a blower on that roof
Looking good! Enjoying watching down to earth fellow upstate’ers roll up their sleeves like this! Keep em coming! And Let’s Go Buffalo!!!
GO BILLS!!!! J - E - T - S. MESS MESS MESS!!!!!

Honestly, when you're just picking up trash and papers the time-lapse speed is fine with me.

Enjoying the videos guys! Do you know what architecture style this home is? Georgian, federal, colonial etc? Great home!
Looking good. Happy holidays!!

Those ceramic insulators are for outside antenna wires for ham radio antennas. They’re probably worth something.
Just thought about a chimney inspection today when we were working and freezing our tails off!
The blue lampshade on the desk lamp was pretty
Quilters also use those lamps similar to the ones yall found.
That’s a lot of work for two people.. but hey, two is always better than one….. oh and let’s go buffalo bills.
Go Bills
The house Grand in it's day, and can be again. Are y'all planning on living in it when you are done with the restorations?
Someday yes
Merry Christmas
Great job are you keeping the kitchen
It’s doubtful, too bad as it was a nice kitchen at one point
There is probably a lot of local history in the paperwok
Where'd you get that music. Is that Davie 504? The bass heavy one in the beginning.
I like you chatting
Would you be willing to let me buy the drafting lamps and ship to me? I would really enjoy using them and supporting your channel
Sure, is there a way I can direct message you?
@ are you on Facebook?
Good job. 15 minute videos are just way too short. I end up moving right past short ones. It’s like 5-6 commercials.
Go to know
I can’t get over how much the sky looks like Jeffrey Epstein 😂
Less talk show the videos! Not when it’s done I m so frustrated I don’t think I can watch to much more
