  • 🤷‍♂️ So you found yourself in a situation where those great dynamic titles are not updating according to the selection made on a visual in Power BI?
You have already checked your DAX measure (maybe more than once) and it seems to work fine...
So what could possibly cause the issue?
Well, there is a known limitation on visual interaction in Power BI. Namely, the visual on which a selection was made doesn't create any queries on itself.
In other words, a "source visual" cannot filter itself.
Unfortunately, this limitation is not YET documented on any of Microsoft's Learn sites (or at least not at the time of the recording of this video).
I hope this tutorial helps you fix the challenge you face and provides you a solution in which your users will always get the right results.
    Have a good one!

Were you aware of this limitation? If so, how did you fix it before? I'm keen to hear other options as well!

    Thanks for the video!
What macbook are you using? Is it working perfectly? I want to go for a 24go macbook air but wondering if it would be enough for Power BI

Mine is an M3Max with 64gb ram. Not sure PBI needs the 64gb model but as I edit videos it makes everything easy :)

It's good to know - especially if you try to spend lots of time fixing a problem that you won't be able to solve :)
Thanks, unfortunately, I only noticed the sound quality after recording 2 videos in the new studio. I'm back to my default mic now, so new ones should be back to the regular quality 🤞
