I just love the marquis reaction when the general said 'imperial grains' he missed the target in surprise and his face was thinking 'i have an idiot for a general' 'really 🤦♀️' his face said it all 😂
Finally....the Marquis felt satisfied. A wife that is not selfish. Only think about money or their own offsprings. That smug smile....and her simple statement of they both from Luo family but they're so different.
His reaction is priceless. This man has never been turned down before and just took it as a foregone conclusion that he was scheduling nookie time with his wife. It's a credit to his personality and morals that he didn't push the issue. Looking forward to the wooing. I do think the writer dropped the ball here though. Instead of the standard "I know what to do," Shiyi should have reiterated her plans on leaving the marriage/mansion and explained how a child would prevent her from doing so. Not just for the maids to hear but also the audience too - as many viewers didn't remember that info from the much earlier episode and were getting frustrated by her attempts to avoid the marriage bed.
True... I actually find that there's a contradiction between Shiyi's wish to catch her mother's killer and her promise to protect her sister's son. How can you plan to expose a crime and run away, but at the same time ensure that the boy will have a future (surviving that household)? But we'll see.

What I learned in this drama is...these three ladies...all they want is Lord to be with but not the best or the blessings for the family...Seven Tan she is the lady of words...she knows the best of the family especially her son and her husband...she takes her time to spears with her husband...to giving her heart to him...I loved the words she said to her husband toward the end of the drama..."thank you for loving me"

I enjoy watching Lingyi's interactions with his 2 young assistants as well as the assistant interactions, definitely making me laugh. They're also so endearing, they're like brothers. Shiyi's expression when Lingyi said he was going to eat lunch at her place, she looked so scared. Lol.
