Here's to hoping Streets of Rage 4 even comes CLOSE to the absolute fucking masterpiece that is Streets of Rage Remake. So far it looks pretty damn good. From what I can gather from all the trailers and very little information I could find about it, I think it's gonna be a fucking blast. However, factoring what I've heard/read from people who've actually already gotten to play it, I'm not so sure. It's 50/50 at this point, could go either way. We'll have no idea until we have it in our hands. For me, 90% of what makes the SOR games great is their feel.

such well made characters elle's sprites are impeccable. the weapon hold with the whip in the other hand has to be custom. the Rudra character looks good though running animation is kinda choppy though it may just be the ninja skip run thing they do in anime.. side note, whats up with the GoldenAxe-ish ults they launch every now and then?
Does anyone know the name of the soundtrack at 32:37? I know that it is another version of the "Last Soul", but its a little bit different than in the V5 version.
Yes, you definitely can. Lots of mods have their own soundtrack entirely. This one, for example, takes some songs from the 70+ songs that are already in Streets of Rage remake AND custom songs added to most of the levels.
You need to download the "Rudra's Story" mod and unpack it into your SORR directory. There's lots of instructions kicking around on the internet that will tell you how to do it. Go to the SORR Forums to find help with ANYTHING you need to know about this game and all the mods you can download and play with it. It's not very difficult and TOTALLY worth it, trust me.

hahaha I'm probably too late and you've probably either figured it out on your own or moved on since you posted this but if you actually still use this account and see this, here's how you do it: After the enemy has thrown you, press and hold the jump button and up on the controller at the same time before you hit the ground and you'll land on your feet EVERY TIME. I like to hit the combo a couple times then hold it on the last one in the air just to be sure. I feel like it works more often, but that's just me. It's a very essential skill to have in these games and SO FUCKING SATISFYING every time you land it and hear the little *tap* of your feet land on the ground.
Nope, she's not. She was made from scratch by Bombergames specifically for Streets of Rage Remake. So, I guess in a way, due to just how legit and perfect Streets of Rage Remake is as a fan game, I'd call her a "real vg character" now. :P
@@Dg-jo2si That's not entirely true. They sure as hell tried but it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to shut something down if people want it bad enough and want we did.
Like I said in my reply to buddy over here, they shut it down but now it's back up. You can find downloads for it from various sources on the internet. A quick google search and you should be able to find it relatively easy. If all else fails and you can't find it, let me know and I'll figure out a way to send you my version. That's the length I'm willing to go to so that I can spread the word about this GREAT GAME and make sure anybody who wants to play it, can play it. EVERYBODY, fan of SOR or not, needs to play this game. It's THAT good.

That's their version of police specials. Weaker than the police car proper that main characters have but available everywhere.
