@@mitchellwhite5928 Strange because you can get the FR7 sounds in the FR8. But I understand you put so many hours programming your machine, you end up not feeling like changing it.
I have played the 8x for nearly 10 years. You get used to an instrument.... I have played the 7X also and it is fine. The 8x has some nice additional features but the biggest issue with the 8x is that it is heavier than the 7X and the weight is distributed differently...more away from the body. For standing the 7x is better. I nearly always play sitting as I was taught that you have more control of the instrument so that is why I have played that way since 1956. I know Cory personally... he is a fantastic musician and a huge promoter of the accordion.
@@RobertKarlBerta Yes, the FR8 is "more away from the body" This is why I completely forget about installing the bellows cushions. I gain about one centimeter closer to my accordion! Who needs the bellows cushion anyway?

Yeah, he still plays the -7. He's played the FR-8X (he's even played mine), but he prefers the sounds of the -7....
