- Meredith Grey is back! On the 'Grey's Anatomy' season 19 finale, the doctors of Grey Sloan fly out to Boston, where Meredith now lives, to attend the Catherine Fox Awards. During their visit, Meredith shares a new theory on Alzheimer's that she wants to present to the board, but she doesn't have the full support of her old colleagues. Meanwhile, there’s some resolution in Meredith’s love life, as she and Dr. Nick Marsh admit how they truly feel about each other. Previously, Meredith left him hanging when he said 'I love you,' before she left for Boston.

I love the story line that Meredith brought in the season finale. A very important perspective, not just alzheimers.
Oh come on Amelia.. Derek would’ve loved that she’s working on what’s possibly HER disease, initially his ego would’ve been hurt but he would’ve come around like always
Exactly. Also it makes sense but to pursue a cure for something because it insults Derek's work. Derek probably would have been studying this right along with her.
Derek did always come around because as brilliant as he was I mean he was Derek Shepherd he knew how Brilliant Mer was even as a intern why he wanted to mentor her why even when she chose general he still always wanted to work with her he knew show extraordinary she was

@@CanUHearMeNow he always had an ego to get over, even when it came to Meredith. Remember when the president wanted him to come and work for him and he just expected Meredith to follow him? And Christina was like ‘he’s not the sun, you are’
the main reason derek even wanted to cure alzheimers was to save the love of his life in the first place. he’d be more than happy disregarding any and all of his ego if it meant mer doesn’t suffer from this disease.

is time to end the show, coz they making Meredith like Angel of death... anyone close to her always have a tragic death. (the reality is the show goes on too long that other cast tired of it and want out, and often write death on their character is the best option)
Please come back and end the show in Season 20
Never end the show! Ever! Keep it going! Break a world record of seasons and episodes. But yes Grey come back eventually. or have her children grow up and become doctors like Zola like there is so many ways to keep this show going on forever

I loved season 19 actually. It was the first season since 12 that honestly felt addicting to watch, like I care about the characters and the plot. The finale had so many wins for all these characters and so many losses. It was nuts!! I think it was nice to see the old charcters kinda bow out and get their happy endings (most), and the newbies are the ones left with the mess. Kinda symbolic when Teddy passes out and all the interns are the only ones who can do something about it because they are the new ones holding the torch. I wouldn't mind meredith just guest staring every now and then.
Please end the show like seriously should've ended after Derek died wtf
