To fully appreciate this music, one must know when it is sung in the context of the Orthodox Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom. The Cherubic Hymn is chanted at the holiest and most spiritual portion of the liturgy, i.e. when the celebrant is preparing to consecrate bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ. It is a way of setting the stage, so to speak, for what is to follow in the worship service.
"Let us who mystically portray the Cherubim, and chant the thrice-holy hymn unto the life-creating Trinity, lay aside all earthly care, that we may receive the King of all, escorted invisibly by the angelic orders. Alleluia." Sorry I forgot to include this in my description when I uploaded it.
Are you Bulgarians able to understand Old Bulgarian even if you haven't studied it? For us Greeks, we can understand some koine Greek even without studying it, however, with more study and familiarity, it becomes much more understandable. So I wonder how it is for you Bulgarians?
@KoenigLudwigIV Can anybody write down the lyrics? It would be wonderful. What a sacred atmosphere! Para que aprendan los 'cantores' aquí en España cómo se canta en la Divina Liturgia.

Let us who mystically represent the cherubim and sing the thrice-holy hymn to the life-giving Trinity set aside all cares of life that we may receive the King of all... May the Lord our God remember all of you in His kingdom, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen. ...invisibly escorted by the angelic hosts. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
@UBTUNE That could cause some problems of doctrinal matter since I'm catholic and intend to remain so ;]... and even if I went - I probably wouldn't be able to buy Xeroubiko or similar there... ;] thanks for advice though. Blessings.
@mi6obravoto My Brother.....sorry but I don't know what that is? Is Solfege bulgarian word? let me the english word and maybe I might have it....God Bless
@vagos2006 I just found out, the word is French but is adopted and used in English too. It is very interesting, I looked in Wikipedia fo find the Greek word, but there was no Greek word for solfege, so probably this is why you don't know it :) All I am asking is if you have the neums.
Does anybody know anyway to buy a cd with such music ? I mean - such as this... exact Byzantine Chant ? in paypal ? :)... I'd really really much like to have my own music library with this sort of sacral music yet it's really hard to find (at least for me ;]). Blessings.
shamir137 He's about to become physically present at the holy Divine Liturgy. Immediately after this, we begin the process of consecration, and Christ becomes available to us by turning simple bread and wine into His Body and Blood, through the Holy Spirit.

Cherubic Hymn is the bringing the gifts from the table of preparation to the Holy Table. The Anaphora is the point wherein the consecration happens.

This is one of the most other worldly hymns I've ever heard, it creates a nursing type of spiritual comfort that only God can provide.
The spirituality of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church is something so very blessed and beautiful. It is a privilege to hear this.
