I am building Hexacopter with Frame Tarot 80 pro.
Which approach is better to choose battery to have long flight time?
1) Single 6S Battery with higher capacity (x)mAh.
2) Parallel connection of two 6S batteries with capacity (x/2)mAh.
I am not an expert in Multicopter design & building. So this is just my opinion.
Either way mah will be same I guess. So for longer flight time choosing an efficient (which draw very less current for the required thrust) motor & prop combination is very important.

Amazing! thank you. But how does the C rating of the battery affects the flight time? A 100mAh with 70C and 1000mAh with 20C are the same in terms of flight time?

Hi,
How to calculate for
1000 mah 4s and 1000mah 3s.
Here Amps is same but voltage is different.
If calculate by using your method we will get the same duration. But 4s will give more flying time..

Flying duration/time depends on mah capacity value & not on voltage ( means 2s or 3s or 4s).
How much power/thrust you will get out of given setup will depend on voltage.

Hi my battery is 2.6 mah and motar motor pulles 8amp but my flight time is 20 sec😭
And I joined 3 cell of 1600+1600+2800 amp li-ion battery
It gives me 11.8v

yah yhi to mai bhi chah raha hu but mene nikala 50%throttle pr 1000kv =25to30min for rc plane for drone 10mint somthing I tested with stopwatch
