Mad respect for Norm standing arms down during the Flugelhorn solo. I feel for the Fluegelhorn soloist trying to fill Don Ellis shoes :-O

I like watching the bass dude. Reading it all yet peeking on occasion at the conductor

Love the use of the didg at the beginning. Really good performance all around! (I wish the pic and sound were properly synced up, though.)

Don would be proud. It's a tad slower but maybe that's what guides the players to be able to play the complexities with less difficulty, because Im sure none of them already owned the Connection album from 1972 where this Hank Levy stunner originated. Wonderful tone from the trumpet player, Don would be very, very proud. Thanks for this excellent rendition.

The audio is not synced, but I do thank you to get me this performance.

the roll off the drums is just great...sax players have to play flute.. hilarious. Bass player pretends to care about the conductor at times... this song is a motor, once it going you going to get on or get thrown off.
