Every time there's an emotional track in a Rick and Morty episode, it's a good episode.
It's the dichotomy of raw cynical worldviews (Rick and Fam on a normal day) crashing against relatable heavy emotions that we as humans of the transfinite curve do not contend with every day. Existence, Death, Regret, our relationships with our inner voices, our relationship with our close family, our relationship with our society and government and very way of doing things. It challenges our wonder and our heart in uncomfortable ways. It is therapy and philosophy dancing at 60 frames per second.

When he's at his wife's grave to lay a blanket down reminds me of sitting at my wives grave its been over 3 years since she passed 1-31-21. This song hurts and heals me at same time. Miss her everyday

I genuinely never thought that would happen to me while watching rick and morty. I was watching it on the tele at breakfast and suddenly i was in tears
I was trying not to. But seeing a man get his heart broken, fail at life then suddenly build a whole city and get back together with the love of his life- only to lose everything once again, really hit me.

I lost my nephew a year ago, I was so close to him and it killed me on the inside that went before me and the fact he was so young. I was starting to move forward but i felt empty, then I watched this and when the song played from beginning to end i couldn't stop watching. The tears just started rolling down my face because that moment made me see the whole picture, i cried because he's gone but I cried again because I'm happy to have ever met someone so precious in my life. I was beating myself up but that stops, I can't bring back but I can love him for all of eternity where he maybe, I hope for the best and thank you for the life we lived together.

This Series makes Great Music every time and this Song makes me Rethink about Life Itself, never thought I’d hear a Beautiful and Emotional Song on a Episode that’s a Mix of Suicide and Spaghetti, that’s some Strong and Impressive Risks.
These are risky but inventive metaphors. It's as if despair and pain are becoming part of the business. Even if it's the tastiest spaghetti in the universe, it's just noodles. They haven't become less delicious, you've just learned what they were worth. The quick satiation and affect of death in an attempt to silence the suffering, or the whole life that was waiting around the corner for you to watch it to the end. Or something like that.

This song has been stuck in my head since the episode first came on. Such a beautiful ear-worm.
I watched this whole new season with my husband in Feb when I had all my wisdom teeth pulled....
I was emotional from the episode, not the pain from having teeth yanked out.
He was there for me & has always been, had medical supplies waiting for me at home, gauze & pain meds, ice cream, etc etc 😢❤

In a world filled with Ricks overwhelming nihilism, this song carries so much weight. To a god being like Rick, life is meaningless yet we are reminded that life does matter in moments like this.
On a side note, Invincible season 2 started around this time and if you overlay this song with the season 2 opener, it fits REALLY well.

I watched the Scene/Song over and over again, i think it's a accomplishment to make somebody cry - especially for a Show like Rick and morty. But this wasn't the first emotional master piece in this Show and hopefully Not the Last! 😢

They made me tear up then I came back to look for the song - this song is beautiful

Just when I was thinking they couldn't top "Don't look back", you guys are so talented man! This song and S7 ep5 made me realize that although we lost Justin Roiland, Rick and Morty haven't lost its melancholic edge. I'll have this song in my ears for a long time☺
While the new voices were jarring the first 3 episodes something about this episodes voices clicked into place, it just sounded right to me.

Not gonna lie this made the tears start flowing
this is one of the most beautiful things i've ever heard in my storied and varied life.
I knew this show was different after they used Fade Into You but what a stroke of genius to come up with one of THE most beautiful cover songs! Rick & Morty has that perfect blend of surreal and tragic comedy, never fails to disappoint imo even with the new voice actors this season.

The way the writers were able to take admittedly disgusting shock factor premise and twist it into something this guy punching is commendable. Can’t think of another series that pull something off like this and have it be as successful as this.

I watched this episode while my wife is asleep in my arms. I’m supposed to be at work but i missed today to watch over her because she’s sick right now.
No idea what’s wrong with her but to hear someone you love say morbid things like “i think something is really wrong with me “ and “i don’t think i have much longer” it just tears me up inside.
Anyway, this montage just made me bawl like a baby, only silently, so that she could stay asleep.
Part of me sees himself as that man, and this song just really broke me down.
