I just took the idea for the mechanism and did my own drawings. But the idea for the mechanism is actually his.

Cara, esse trabalho ficou espetacular! Sou modelista e trabalho mais com réplicas de aeronaves em escala, mas adoro armas e é um hobby pra mim. É muito satisfatório projetar e construir um trabalho desses todo a mão e saber que foi você mesmo que fez. Isso é ter muita paciência e carinho pelo que faz, é uma habilidade que praticamente ninguém tem. É uma pena que esse tipo de trabalho não tenha a valorização devida. Real talk this gun is dope I’m bout to try and build it but I’m bout to modify it to where it shoots homemade bullets out the barrel and it also will have a flash light that I coded so it’s bright and blinks fast like crap that can nearly make someone feel wozzie from a distance and make it hard to see me then I’m gonna put a laser beam you can see come out from the bottom of the gun then I’m gonna put motors on the gun so it can go full auto and more crazy stuff this gun model is fire real talk

Hey! some truly impressive work yet again..
my only question is why you don’t make a functioning slide lock, It would look awesome if it locked and you could release the lock with the switch.
Challenge yourself to make a new and improved version glock 17 gen 4 .. I Would love to see you try that out and make a tutorial on another new one and maybe paint it with a matte blackish/greyish slide and dark grey frame to mimic the iconic glock colour and polymer frame, because glocks aren’t really black, they’re more dark grey almost a graphite/alloy look.
Full slide back, locking mechanism, etch the white lettering (Austria, 9x17, and glock logo)
Add the iconic white iron sights, scrap the elastic shooting part and close up the slide fully
(Prop weapon instead of an elastic shooter)
And if possible, a working magazine release and mag with cardboard 9mm rounds.
That would be seriously awesome and would definitely need a tutorial so I could try it out.
I would try this myself but Unfortunately I don’t have the experience nor the engineering gift that you have.

I watched again and again this video. I tried this and i understand if you some issue, you must find a solve yourself. I missed this point in my first try. I want to try again in more attention than first. My material is 1.4mm thickness. I think it is not problem. If i success second one, i want to make a video and share it's link from here.

@@HomeGunMaker can it be made from regular package cardboard? Or do I need something thinner like shoe box cardboard?
@Jim the thinner the better. Some parts are so thin that you’ll have to use a thinner one. It depends on the thickness of each piece, as long as you make those pieces the specified thickness, you can use any type of cardboard
