I took my Cardboard Blowback Glock project and made a simpler version, without the shooting mechanism, only the blowback, and where all the layers are 3mm, so you can have them laser-cut as I did, or manually saw them on plywood or MDF.

One question though, does it work with stronger elastic bands? or is the mechanism not strong enough to perform blowback action

That looks pretty awesome, I may have to make this one next. the mechanism looks similar to Wooden weaponry's m9 Beretta but improved a lot. and since I have already made that, this hopefully won't be too hard.

I'm trying to build the gun but once you put the slide on in the video you had suddenly cut groves into the wood and added two sticks that stop the slide from going up can u please make a vid where u show how to build that part🙏

Looks good, I can't help but wonder what happens if one of the rubber bands snap? You would have to pry open some pieces because they're glued together right?
You just open the screws. The last piece on top is not glued, it’s just screwed, so you can open it

i still dont understand how the rubber band parts can cause the blow back can you explain it to me plz [is the the friction of the rubber band at the bottom pulling the rubber band at the top causing the slide to move back?]
edit [i thought the blow back is slightly delay from the trigger pull so its like actual blowback like not from you pushing the slide back but the explosion is pushing it back or in this case i though the rubber bade had sth to do with it]

1. What laser cutter do you use, and what is the name of the software?
2. Can you use this on cardboard?
I don’t know what laser cutter it is, I have it done in a company near my house.
The software I use for designing is Corel Draw.
Yes you can easily do it on cardboard as long as you make each piece 3mm thick

É um elástico de cabelo. Qualquer tamanho de parafuso, desde que não seja maior que a espessura da arma.
