Smoky is gorgeous and you can tell she loves her job, she’s a happy dog. All your critters seem pretty happy, I think you give them a good life for a farm animal. Great seeing Adler and Case, your boys are great too.
Chad, I love your relationship with Chase and Adler. You are so gentle with them. I have a joke from "Gramma's funnies" that Chase can tell his Grandpa. "What do you get when you pick a pig's nose ? Ham boogers ! I know, I lnow, it's snot funny ! "
Smokey is beautiful 😍. So glad I ran across your channel. You are an amazing caring dad! Your boys are awesome and so handsome. Case has quite the personality. I love seeing you and him together. You two have a great bond! Keep up the amazing work dad!
You take care of the animals and raising the animals, you are doing amazing. Love that you put so much care for the animals. I get a kick out of Adler, he really enjoys his time with you. Case loves his time. I think you are doing a great job raising the boys.
Sooo glad y’all found the root of the problem with Smokey. She is so pretty, and she is such a great dog, that we all hated to think she was in pain. Now she’ll be able to run with the “ big” dogs.
Chad I agree with you that is one animal I’ve always wanted and I can’t wait until I get a few of them. I’m definitely going to have to find me some of those red turkeys.
I am about 99.9999% sure she's an Anatolian-Pyrenees (Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix). She looks and has a personality so very much like mine. He's huge, and at 4 yrs old, he's so agile and playful. lol He loves tossing his big toys around, pouncing and barking at his toys.
I do enjoy being able to watch a few videos again. This one had a little bit of everything in it. Then here came the farm bosses. How sweet that was. Hugs and Love to you all🥰
You got it exactly right Smoky is RUclips's cutest sweetest most loving dog. All of your animals are very healthy that I can tell and I agree the vet always has something they want to sell you. Keep up the good work. I can't hear any of the noise in the back because we're listening to what you are saying. God bless you and the boys and your parents and I know you'll keep up the good work.
I promise I didn't mean nothing by saying something about we're listening to you not the noise I wasn't trying to be mean I don't think you took it that way cuz you put a laughing face there. I was just saying we was listening about your animals and looking at Sweet Smoky she is RUclips's favorite dog and my opinion you're doing a great job keep up the good work
I should be getting my seed potatoes today! So excited! The Beefy Boys thought it was play time when you put their hay in there.....lol Your boys are so adorable. My youngest is 11 and I so miss the younger ages.....lol Enjoy your babies Chad. They grow up SO fast.
Lol, some vets are like mechanics. You walk in with one thing wrong and walk out with waaaay more. Yup. She is such a gorgeous pup. So silly with her tongue lolling out.
That's why we like the ol' "grandfathered" vets. Ours gives annual shots, pills, advice, but doesn't do blood tests, surgeries, nor emergencies. He does sell flea & heartworm meds!! And, his prices are very reasonable. 🙂
I pay more attention to what you're saying than hearing any noise in the background, I do hear and enjoy the noise of the animals, but always can hear what your saying. No worries! 😉
Smokey, really loves her Master dogs are really Smart she is Smiling as you Talk Chad,if she was hurting Smokey wouldn’t eat as Much growing Pain probably 🤗
You are sooo blessed. Those two boys are amazing. Mine are grown, 35 & 40. Trust me, these are the best years of your life, raising them. It all goes so fast. 💕💕
Great catch up today for all of the new subscribers and those who check in from time to time. Love Adler’s hat. Amazing how the predator capture has slowed right down.
Loved when the cows started jumping around when they got their new hay bale. I'd say she is 50/50 Anatolian/Great Pyrianease. Adler is getting a little better every day with his talking. Case how's the Xbox? It's good to see you out. Thank you for sharing! Hugs and love to you and your family. ❤️✝🤗 Have a beautiful and blessed week. God Bless ❤️✝🤗
I loved seeing the boys! They are so cute. I enjoyed seeing all the animals. Red is really cute this was the first time I ever seen her face up close! Yes you do need to separate Lola and Hoss. That way she can enjoy sleeping when ever she wants and will get plenty of rest before the piglets come! I loved seeing Smokey of course. Great video! 😊❤😊❤😊
Nice to see Adler playing and sharing with Grandma! I know I’ve seen this before, lol. But I love ya man, and I get your sense of humor! Merry CHRIST-mas.
Your Smokey is so sweet, love to watch her eat the eggs. I love animals too much to eat them after I've raised them, but that's why you raise them. I watch two farms that raise bison in Oklahoma and they buy and sell their critters. I live in Black Angus country in GA and those animals are gorgeous! (I'm a city girl and I eat mostly chicken. 😊 Good Luck with your new "herd". You have some good looking critters on your farm.
So glad you figured out that Smokey was getting a bit too much protein. It's easy to do with large breeds, especially on a farm, where you can't always monitor, or know whether they've found extra food somewhere.
Hey chad. I know this is an old video - and its probably already been suggested etc but wanted to leave a comment just incase it can help. I founded a dog rescue over here in the UK and we see all kinds of large dogs with issues. The main one being hip dysplasia and arthritis. Theres a process we put all of them on (if they show pain of any sort re joints etc) and we have a (adopted) dog that has severe hip dysplasia and arthritis, she was so bad, she could only bunny hop on her back legs. The stuff we do, meant that now, if you look at her youd never know she had an issue she walks great we still have to be careful re exercise and overdoing it but otherwise shes very happy and healthy as are all of the others. We were amazed how much these simple natural things helped for a variety of ailments, be it physical or mental health. So firstly, we make sure theyre as light/lean as they can be, whilst still being healthy, to remove as much stress and weight on the joints as possible. Next we start them on natural products. Golden paste (you can make this at home, or the golden paste company is great if you want pre made, green lipped mussel and CBD oil (no THC so no hallucinations etc). You can use YUMOVE alongside too. All of these help with inflammation and pain as well as help the immune system too. Theres a few other things that can make sure she stays healthy, all natural, all can be bought online easily. Cold pressed, raw, organic coconut oil (great for lubrication of joints, good fur and skin as well as inflammation and immune system support and can be used topically as well as internally) Apple Cidre vinegar (great for general health etc) Diatomaceous earth (this is AMAZING for intestinal parasites, fleas, ticks, worms etc etc and can be given to most animals i understand if not all? But definitely smokey) Salmon oil (great for lubrication of the joints as well as good skin and hair quality) Manuka honey (expensive and you have to be careful how much you feed of course but is amazing for boosting the immune system, and has antibacterial antimicrobial properties, you can use topically or in her diet). Lastly, a HUGE part of the rescue dogs recovery was Hydrotherapy..... swimming gives relief from any discomfort, while allowing non weight bearing exercise, so that she can build muscles in her back legs that otherwise may start diminishing, because of any compensating she needs to do for pain or again, if hip dysplasia its just what happens to the muscles if they only have weight bearing exercise. The water means she can strengthen and build the muscles she may not be able to walking or running. 😁 obviously here in the UK you can pay and take your dog to a facility who will do hydro for you. But essentially a pool of water you could do it yourself. Theres lots of videos re hydro that may be useful for you if you did want to look into that as an option too. I know youve found something thats made a huge difference to her now, but wanted to give the info incase the "treat" shes on now stops working etc or you want to just look into other things that may benefit even alongside of the other stuff (and some info like the diatomaceous earth may even help other animals on your farm). Love adler and case, and the father and person you are. Good luck with smokey, really hope her ailment doesnt get worse with age but its for sure a big possibility so adding some suppliments as mentioned above may well be a preventative or even just a help towards what may come in future. Love from over the pond! Keep safe and well, and keep being awesome! X
Farm life! I love "bacon seeds" 🐷❤Living the dream for sure. It may be best if Smokey is mixed, hopefully breed health issues would not pop up later. My dog does the same thing with pork treats. He acts like they are so special, and will try to hide it so no one else can have his prize. 😂🐶❤
From what I've heard and read, Anatolian Shepherds mature slower and have an extra long puppy stage. (lol) And for their size, they're pretty agile. :)
Chad every time you move one of those round bails I think of the Highlander moving trees in the games. If I need a house moved a foot or two I will give you a call. LOL Smokey will stay awake to play with the pigs ear.
Hey from England, love the channel. We've had large breeds before and cod liver oil or in tablets are good for joints and health. Either way you know your own animals and they look pretty OK to me ❤️
Have you tried adding some fish to her diet? The Omega 3's and other stuff in them help for growing animals and maintaining good health. That's why Eskimo dogs are so healthy lol
Hey Chad, We had raised garden beds but our backs took a workout...moved over to 5 gal buckets for everything and now we can move the buckets as needed and we still got great harvest of squash, green beans , peas, pumpkins, cucumber, carrots, garlic and green onions...seeds were started in doors @ March 15th and by May 15th ready to go into buckets...we drilled some small holes in bottoms and use sand & seaweed from beach to enrich & lighten the soil...I'm so ready...we just had 24 hours of arctic 35+mph winds and lots of limbs and dead trees fell...going to get a battery powered chainsaw for our yard cleanup...Cheers from Maine.
I was wandering about the fence when you get baby pigs they may get out of the holes in the fence I am sure you know you were probably were going to fix it . Love you guys just was wandering about it .God Bless You All

Appreciate the explanation of the amount of protein in Smokey's diet. That makes perfect sense. We always gave our dogs raw eggs plus other goodies. They all had long lives. I do know that the big breeds do have genetic problems. I see a ton of Pyrenees in her. Seems something other than Anatolian but I have been wrong so many times.Tail seems wrong for either breed and legs just seem a tad off. I can't wait to hear what test results are. Exciting.... heard just now you used embark...yay.... I looked long and hard...My guess is Smokey is Great Pyrenees and Bernese Mountain dog. Only from body lines and color. Been wrong many times but been right many times too LOL
I picked up my GLD Saturday and he’s a Anatolian shepherd and he’s so cute but I haven’t put him in with the animals 100% so we can work on training he’s only 12 weeks old. So the only thing I would consider with Smokey is switching her food 🤷♀️.. But definitely to much protein can cause joint issues so I personally agree with what you were saying...
Growing pains is a Real thing. Our son at 11 yrs old complained about pain. We took him to the emergency room. Exray's,test, Etc. $600.00 later diagnostic was Growing Pains.
Who needs a gym when you have a farm 🚜. Who needs weights when you have square 🔲 or round bales of hay. Lol I loved throwing the square bales in my younger years.

PUSH, PUSH VERRY LITTLE NOISE THROW SOME STRAW IN FRONT OF THE GATEWAY, YOU ARE SOOO FUNNY CASE 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
Agreed
Agreed on waiting until 100% as well.

Who needs a gym when you have a farm 🚜. Who needs weights when you have square 🔲 or round bales of hay. Lol I loved throwing the square bales in my younger years.
