That’s a brilliant tent and to know that the makers are supplying some of the residents who have been left with nothing, a tent to live in whilst they rebuild their lives… ❤
How awesome! What a beautiful 4 season teepee/bell tent equipped with electrical inserts, and heater stove capabilities. Wonderful that Stout is helping people who lost their homes in the hurricane. It will be fun to furnish the interior. Thanks for sharing your new homestead addition.
I love seeing our community pulling together for so many people that have been affected by that hurricane. God has really shown his love through all the people pouring their hearts into recovery. I was just talking to my neighbor about how our area is so different now. Due to all the trees missing from the hurricane you sure can hear the buzz of man made noise. I miss my loud country sounds. I'm so proud of y'all for using your platform as a resource to help even more people. My church has been building tiny homes and my pastor and a couple Deacons have been back and forth from NC delivering these tiny homes to families. Our pastor shares stories and letters from residents affected by the hurricane. My pastor has also been in charge of reaching out to people to see what their needs are. The burden of so many horrific stories shows on his face. NC needs strong ppl to help move the millions of metric tons of debris so they can start rebuilding. And there is still so much need for housing. Mental help should be a priority soon to help with the emotional toll that is so prevalent. Let's continue to pray for all that have been affected, for all that are lost and feel alone, for all that are helping, and for all that want to help but are being held back. Peace and Love Neighbors 💞
I DO so luv your posts!! Been watching y'all for a few years now, and keep coming back for more good stuff. . . May you continue to grow, and prosper, in your adventures . . . and keep on, keepin' on with your efforts with a more natural, self-sustaining life style! Thanx so much! :>)
Nice tent. Yeah, so much devastation. One of my daughters down in Augusta, GA sent me videos and pics of some of it there. She had no power for about a week. The closed off I-40 at the exit near where I live. My power was only out for 3 days, but I had my solar panels and a handful of solar generators to keep my (and my neighbor's) fridges going. I would live in a tent like that.
I'd do it. I lived in a milk house in a barn for a year with no plumbing. This looks brighter. More inviting. I've considered it many times. I hope people will think outside the box and help themselves to this great resource.
Excellent video, thank you. I hope the folks in WNC are able to access these. I hope to have something like this one day, helps me feel my homesteading dream is slightly less impossible.
❤️❤️❤️ Love that tent. Nice and roomy. I would stay in one while preparing my property for a house. My family on the other hand would think I was crazy. Great video 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That tent is super cool. I bet if you wanted you could put it on a platform like the farm you went to did , and you could over time put more up if you chose to 😁
In Australia in the mis 1950’s new immigrants built garages called bungalows whilst building their homes my parents and sister lived in the bungalow for 8 years building the home as they could afford it, loans for new Australian”s was basically non existent unless you had a good job and Australian my aunt did the same thing with her family. My father’s parents had 13 kids😊 Small housing in old shipping containers converted to a home for one or two people and can be moved if need be.
I love that you are showing a bell tent as an alternative shelter option. The homestead community is growing and what a great reminder that this is how our country was settled. Entire towns started as tent villages. With a simple platform and a bell tent on it, young people can start their dream of self-sufficiency outside of the high cost of the current housing market. Even as a "second home" families can buy a small piece of property, put a bell tent on it and have a weekend getaway. Getting out into nature, spending unplugged time together is a great way to build strong families. You two are awesome!!!
Government regulations prevent people from living in tents. Protecting us from ourselves or is it to protect their tax base. Cities, states have so many road blocks to financially starting from scratch and building up as we go. You may have bought land but are prevented from it's use unless big brother allows.
you may want to research these for heating tent copy paste in youtube>> SILVEL DIESEL HEATER. Putting it together in the Farmhouse Workshop. Using it at THE TENT.

Looks like the harry potter tents. hehe
During the hurricane, did you stay in the yurt? And what was it like?
Wouldn't the floor of the tent rot faster being on the ground ? It would haven been best placed on a platform and bolted on .
We have fire in California
👍🍁🍁🇺🇲🇺🇲👍
Bruh you need to tune up that pocket knife 😅
