How To Make Chocolate Mocha Cobbler

- If you're a chocolate lover, this will satisfy every craving! It's comfort food at it's best.
Ingredients
1 stick salted butter
1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
1 cup self rising flour
8 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, divided
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup hot coffee
1 cup chopped nuts, optional
Preheat oven to 350F. Place butter in a 10-inch cast iron skillet and place in the oven until butter is melted.
In a small bowl whisk together half of the sugar, (3/4 cup) and half of the cocoa (4 tablespoons.) Set aside.
In medium bowl, stir together remaining ingredients except for the hot coffee.
Place batter into cast iron skillet with melted butter and don't stir. Sprinkle chocolate sugar mixture evenly over the batter. Pour hot coffee coffee over the top. Do not stir.
Bake approximately 30-35 minutes, until center is almost set. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
