You are very lovely and I enjoyed your video. I had to smile which I do not do much anymore when you made the comment about liking to open the biscuits. I’m 84 years old and was married to a wonderful woman for 62 years who passed away this past March. When married a short time she was going to open a can of those biscuits. She told me in fun I was hard headed and proceeded to use my head to open them. She missed her mark or I moved my head and the metal ring hit instead of the center. I came off the couch and she went out the door with me right behind her. When I caught her we were both laughing and hugging. We went back in and she patched me up. I loved that gal. Keep up the good work.
These are just like the fried pies my grandma used to make! 🤗 Thank you so much for sharing this delicious treat! And the stroll down memory lane. Now, I can share it with my grandchildren. ❤
omg, you sure created a lot of work for me!! I tried your recipe and my hubby LOVES them!! He now needs to have one for breakfast EVERY DAY!! LOL!!! they are delicious for sure, but now I'm frying pies every other day ha ha.
Grandmother always made me fresh fried pies, peach are my favorite fresh from her trees, then lemon and apple,, so good,, Thank you Kathy but there is no too big of a fried pie 🥰 OMG I see that book with Dothan on it, my hometown, born and raised, Go Tigers! we won't even talk about the changes..
FINALLY! A useful “hack” that applies to my life! Thank you for the wonderful suggestions! I make my own fillings, but I ❤ the idea of not having to make the dough. What a time saver! You, my dear, are a blessing to us! New subscriber here.
For those that don't want to eat all the oil from deep frying, these can also be baked in the oven for the same amount of time that are on the biscuit dough instructions. These are also great from the air fryer.
Am so glad I watch this cause I was thinking to do this after watching many videos on how to🤔 this one does it for me thanks for sharing I know what am going to do now 👍🤣 This Way🤣👍!
Exactly, I use dried apples and dried peaches, like my mom always did, I have cooked fresh apples and used them but nothing beats the dried fruit….you can order the dried fruit off the internet or dry your own , I have a dehydrator that works well…..
NOTICE!!! Never never try opening them on your husbands head. It doesn’t work and will instantly infuriate him. This is a proven fact. Years later it’s funny. Yea I’m the husband 62 years later and still married to her. She uses the counter top since then. Good thing she was a fast runner.
I heard you mention the air fryer but I wasn’t clear what I heard about when you used it. I was wondering if instead of frying in oil, if you could just use air fryer
Way too much powered sugar for me, only a light sprinkle is sufficient, I prefer a light glaze, I use only fresh apples, I don’t like canned apples at all, have way too many spices ….yours turned out good….

Im lovin ittt thank uuu
Dont have any pie filling can I use canned fried apples.
Yum❤
If there's a lot of sauce in the pie filling, should you use it as is or get as much of the fruit and as little of the sauce as possible?
Yes. Don’t use much of the liquid. Great question ❤️
You are beautiful. Thank you so much for the video. Your energy is amazing.
Thank you
I remember watching you hit the can on the side of the counter many times! 😂 it's very enjoyable isn't it! 😂😂❤
Try apricot mm good
I heard you mention the air fryer but I wasn’t clear what I heard about when you used it. I was wondering if instead of frying in oil, if you could just use air fryer
I've never tried these in an air fryer. I may do that soon!
Can you prep them, fry them, freeze them, and then heat them either in microwave or air fryer?
Sure!
3:40 can I bake them. ?
You definitely can. But they’re going to have a different texture and taste. The oil does make a difference
@@kathyssouthernkitchen302 oh ok
My favorite is peach!!!!
Yum!
❤❤❤
I can't get them rolled out thin enough. They draw up on me and end up being too thick.
Let them sit out a few minutes to get the chill off before rolling them
Could you use a tortilla press ??
I’m not sure about that. If you try it out let me know how it works out for you.
Prepared dough, biscuits are High in sodium toomsalty ,not good for hbp
Not everyone has to worry about salt.
What r the fillings YOU like???
My Grandma made fried banana pies.
Absolutely delicious
Yum! Sweet memories ❤️

Wrong ,canned biscuits?
They’re a great shortcut❤️
