Lol android is made by linux
Dumbass
google and linux
Here before this comment is popular
Android and Google: WTF?!
based*
in arm devices running linux, it will show penguins on the top (more will show up depending on how much cpu cores are in this device) and will show the boot messages below it
Does that on x86 too if you compile your own kernel with specific options before a graphics driver is loaded
@@DistrosProjects I guess if it's possible on x64 with s6
well a similar screen is in gentoo
@@leonardoplays5546 actually the same screen
the penguins are a kernel compile option, you can do on x86 if you have all the proper video drivers setup
It should also be noted that, on Fedora 35, Ubuntu 21.10, Ubuntu Unity 22.04, and Zorin OS 16.1, if you boot using EFI, your computer's OEM logo will also show up as part of the boot screen.
If it can't find an OEM logo, or it boots using legacy BIOS, Fedora and Zorin leaves the OEM logo space blank (which is why their boot animations are at the bottom), and Ubuntu and Ubuntu Unity simply places their respective logos in the space instead.
EDIT: Some virtualisation software, such as VirtualBox and QEMU, also uses their own OEM logos (QEMU actually uses the TianoCore logo).
VirtualBox VMs display the VirtualBox logo on boot when installed in UEFI mode, but VMware VMs don't. Most of the Linux distros shown in this video were installed in legacy BIOS mode.
I have the same problem. I am using the Zorin 16.2 lite. The pc logo does not show up. The pc is still usable. I am using the LiveCD
I honestly wish all OS's had a GUI boot up, gives them personality you know, and if you really want to, have the terminal looking startup.
agreed, terminal shit scares a lot of people. Better to hide it from regular users with a cute loading screen.
Could you include Pardus Gnome & XFCE (There are 2 different versions) in your next Linux video? Please.
I should point out that the Fedora 20 and RHEL 6.4 startup screens you showed were the text mode fallback versions, likely because you were using VMs.
On real hardware, the Fedora startup screen in the proper graphical mode was instead a grey background with a shape that filled up with white liquid to then flash into the Fedora logo.
Maybe I should have ran Fedora 20 from a Live USB and recorded it with a capture card like I did with Cylon Linux and Ubuntu Satanic.
Fedora 20 boot screen (ran from a live USB and recorded with a capture card): ruclips.net/video/e0UgdLKd76k/видео.html
For those who don't know, RHEL stands for Red Hat Enterpise Linux.
There's a newer bootscreen for Android x86, which I think uses the Roboto font and looks more minimalistic (it has been a thing since Android Lollipop or something like that, so the bootscreen in this video is for Android KitKat and earlier)
correct, I saw that in emulators & a tablet but instead it said the model
Most Android phones and tablets usually display the OEM logo on the boot screen.
@@fr0dlshy Device OEMs put custom boot animations/logos on their devices. I was talking about the default/fallback boot animation.
@@markusTegelane Windows also sometimes has the OEM logo on boot screen instead of the Windows logo when installed in UEFI mode.
@@World_of_OSes Yes,Ubuntu also has the OEM logo on the boot screen when booting on UEFI mode(even if you installed it on BIOS)
4:43 Hi, I'm Christian.
thats crazy dude
@@Pqnticqn
Nope, just my name.
The best boot scene has parrots os... Not thet popular, but it's so good design and animation.
Endless OS and last Zorin boot animations are very interesting. Look like old mobiles and consoles startups.
P.S. What about video with Linux Shutdown screens? I heard last Zorin has that.
Linux shutdown: ruclips.net/video/OZ_qvuwhrbA/видео.html
@@World_of_OSes There are Shutdown Prompts, not Shutdown Animations.
0:08 i remember that bootscreen on old tablet
It's the AOSP boot screen
We also had a tablet with that boot screen. Once my sibling got mad at me, and he smashed the tab on my forehead... 😬

0:11 the Android x86 is an os?
Lindows?
I should also point out that you forgot to add the Android boot screen in Android 5.x or higher
I love debian CLI boot.
great
Good!

Crazy bootscreens
I can’t believe you missed the MASSIVE change between Linux Mint 20 and Linux Mint 21
I showed Linux Mint 16, Linux Mint 19 and Linux Mint 21.
He also missed Chrome OS
@@hw9 Chrome OS is more of a proprietary distro of Linux. Also I was being sarcastic, because the change between Linux Mint 20 and Linux Mint 21 is very minimal.
Now, shutdown screens?
Bliss os?
How did this video got recommened for me
i miss ubuntu 16.10 startup screen.
2:49 this is not just that boot screen
Should've also included Zorin 9 & 10
i think all of this is booted from DVD. a few linux bootscreen shown on this video is different when installed. for example. MX linux on 2:53. the startup screen on that. it's just MX linux loading from DVD. the real boot screen of that is a gray background with the logo on it with a bar. also you forgot some version of deepin. kubuntu and more. and some linux distro. this video is quite outdated. it was made 9 months ago. so there is almost no chance of getting a heart or a reply
Some of them are booted from the live ISO, some are installed.
@@World_of_OSes ok
Trust me that the Ubuntu and pi os startup screen is real because I have a pi. The newer Ubuntu look
Cool
I wasn’t born in the date ubuntu 4 was found
Heyyy damn small linux!
i used that for my usb once
Bro Raspbian is now called Raspberry Pi OS
Actually Kali Linux a boot screen shows an dragon loading screen
Ubuntu and Deepin bootscreens have changed.
