I have a friend from Korea and she told me that the best technique to apply toner is with hands and honestly since then my skin really improved and honestly I never bought cotton pads since then.
if it is an exfoliating toner i use cotton pads but if it is a hydrating toner thats the time i use my palms😉❤️
Likewise.❤😊
it make sense
you can also apply exfoliationg toners with your hands. Either way you are suppose to exfoliate your hands so it just makes sense.
If it working four you then there's nothing wrong with it but applying an exfoliating toner with a pad (that would mildly exfoliae your skin) COULD increase sensitivity
My whole life just flashed in front of me. Lol
In his full video, he also says to use a cotton pad to exfoliate your skin so that your palms don't become sensitive over time
Wait. I just saw your video to use cotton pad instead of palm?
Thank you for the advice, i was getting a little tingling sensation when applying with cotton pad but nothing when applying by my hands, now I know the reason and correct way to it.
I used to use cotton pad with cleansing water and it’s extremely irritated my skin, my face turn red hurt and got tiny bumpy I thought this irritating from cleansing water but it’s from cotton pad so I switched to cleansing oil/milk/balm and use never any cotton pad again
This is frustrating. What should we be doing?
I did this once and it made my skin burn anytime I tried to use anything other than moisturizer so yeah skip out on the cotton pad lol
I don't understand now you recommend it in your other video you said something like "use exfoliating toner in cotton pad cause it double exfoliate" but now you don't recommend it cause it damage your skin, can you please enlighten me
Sorry for my bad english
Ya I didn’t get it too😅
There are a bunch of toners out there that works differently, for instance Cosrx Propolis toner (anti inflamation), Makep:rem Ceremide toner (healing), Beauty of Joseon Ginseng toner (anti aging) and what he meant is not all toner requires cotton pads, unless you are using an exfoliating toner. So generally rule of thumb with cotton pads are, unless you are using an exfoliating toner, there's no reason for u to use a cotton pads bc you r just wasting products
yes he is trying to confuse u so u watch the video again and again lol. I use cotton pad with exfoliating toner once a week never had any problem, I have dry and sensitive skin.
i came looking for this comment as well, was so confused, anyways we wash our hands after using the exfoliating toner so it doesnt really exfoliate our hands no?
In his full video, he was saying that *if* you need more exfoliation because maybe you have textured skin or whatever, then you should use a cotton pad. But using a cotton pad might be too aggressive for most skin types and you will lose more product. It's general advice in the short and the one in the video was specific advice
I never ever used a cotton pad my entire life. I just pour the toner on my palm of my hand and apply it.
how about cleanser toners?
If its a clarifying lotion/toner do i use cotton pad/balls or not? Said by the instructions from the bottle "by using a cotton ball/pad
I placed my toner in a clean, empty serum bottle, the one with a dropper. Heh.
I actually searched cotton pad burning and yup i used toner with pad for the first time because the girl at the makeup store said its good, but not my face is kind of burning. So I'll use my hand starting now
what about toner pads
How about using micellar water with cotton pad? I used this method over and over again and multiple times to clean all the makeup. Is there any method that I can apply without make my skin worse?
You may want to use a cleansing balm/oil to remove your make up and use a gentle cleanser afterwards its a double cleansing without drying and using a cotton pad just your hands
What about miscellar water?
Use fotton pad if you're taking off makeup
I already stopped wasting toner by using unnessary cotton pads
If I recall, there was another video about depending on what type of toner you use, you use either your hands or a cotton pad to apply the toner. So now you're saying not to use a cotton pad at all?
Yup. If the toner is more like a BHA/AHA toner, then it's more sensible to use it with a cotton pad.
Where's the solution in this video
Can you even get an injure from a cotton pad
FACTS
How should you use toner?
Apply with your hands. Toner is not to get rid of more dirt like people think.
@@Angelaaa1015 , okay, thank you!
how should we use toner then?
put it in your hands and apply it
when u havent used that yehh safe
Damn you can't even touch your face with "damage" being done. 🤦🏼♀️
So how u apply it ? Lol
With your hands
so what is the right way?
With your hands
You apply toner with your hands basically like you apply any skincare.
Never used them, your hands make it work better
