Hi!can i use this every night?
Thank you sooo much for all amazing info. I just got “alpha arbutin 2%+HA” but as I checked ordinary is reformulating “mangnesium ascorbyl phosphate 10%” . I’m wondering if you can advise another Vitamin C to combine with Niacin-amide?
Please send a specific treatment for melasma.

Whats the ordinary mendalic acid 10% function??
Can i use only 1 on that products or all that
I've heard from dermatologist that studies showed that 10% of niacinamide is too high and doesn't work better than lower percent. Over 5% it's a bit too much irritative for the skin.
Please tell about ordernary serum 2% B5 does it also remove pigmentations?? Please reply 😢
I have followed this routine for years. While my skin has improved greatly, it hasn't done anything for my hyperpigmentation 😢. I don't think anything will.
Could be hormonal, or you may just need clinical skin treatments + products instead. The ordinary is basic and affordable however for stubborn hyperpigmentation, best to book into a clinic for a skin analysis for skin treatment recommendations, and they can prescribe you some higher quality skincare xx
Hi i have pimples n pimple marks on my face so which one l can use my skin?
I dark spots on both sides of my cheeks.. dark spots under my eyes. These will go to any serum?
I'm using alpha Arbutin and niacinamide of ordinary products..satisfied with both of them but also using granactive retinol 2 to 3 times a week which was not effective I feel it made pigmentation more darker. So I just left it.
I’m suffering from hyperpigmentation since last 2 years and i had tried everything to get rid of it but still in my face… currently I’m using The ordinary Vitamin C serum with 8% Ascorbic acid and 2% Aplha Arbutin morning and The inkey tranexamic acid at night so can i add Niacinamide at evening routine before tranexamic acid?
the ordinary alpha arbutine is the best one of malesma and highperpigmentation and i used it
its works for me😍
Yes so amazing isn’t it!

Hello! You are so amazing.. i was finding something like this for so long.. i have dry skin and light brown indian skin and have bad hyperpigmentation on sides on forehead, sides of cheeks, dark circles, smile lines, and my whole face is uneven and 3-4 shades darker than my neck and my whole body. I have went two dermatologist till now and both didn't work and last one gave me some secret cream which i dont know its ingredients but it might be steriod or hydroquinone at high level. I have left all those things. And consulting a 3rd dermatologist who is giving me hostilic and root cause treatment. The skin care he gave me is very simple but with high spf 30 and 50 moisturizer n sunscreen. If possible can you help me suggest something that i can add in my treatment after 1 month of current treatment which can help even tone my skin?

Hi, can you tell me what cleanser and moisturiser we can use with this? i use the Ordinary’s Gluoside foaming cleanser and Natural Moisturising Factors + Beta Glucan as the moisturiser. Is it safe to continue with these two products in the Hyperpigmentation skincare routine?
Yes you can use those products x
Thank you so much hod bless you
You're welcome :)
Can I use Niacinamide 10%+zinc 1% first then lactic acid or retinol 0.2% in the nighttime? Or can I use Niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% then and vitamin C serum in the morning? Thanks
Unfortunately with the Ordinary you cannot mix niacinamide or retinol with their vitamin C.
Morning:
Cleanse, Vitamin C, moisturise, sunscreen
Night:
Double cleanse, niacinamide followed by retinol in squalane, moisturise
You can incorporate lactic acid 2x per week in morning or evening routine as long as you wear sunscreen but use alone and without any other actives.
E.g - cleanse, lactic acid serum, moisturiser, sunscreen ☀️
Or night time - cleanse, lactic acid, moisturise.
Every skin is different so if you find that is too stimulating - you can reduce the retinol nights and do this instead
Double cleanse, niacinamide + moisturiser
Azelaic or lactic acid, which one is more effective for acne scars?
Is it post inflammatory hyperpigmentation from breakouts or is it scarring from cystic acne?
Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation - both azelaic and lactic are great to help brighten the skin and fad dark spots.
Vitamin A/Retinol as well.
Acne scars are deeper within the skin and will require a series of skin needling sessions by a professional skin therapist. Home care will be your Vitamin A, B, C, lactic acid liquid exfoliant.
Do you sell the products
Hello İ have acne scars and İ'm very sad. Please help me. What will help me?

Hey Gina, yes any of these products I talked about in this video you can apply to your hands. I have also listed them in the description. Sunscreen is also important to use daily. Treat your hands as if you were apply skincare to your face :)
Hi i have dark brown spot on my face (hyperpigmentation) Open porse on cheeks .. black head on Nose..and two tone skin like brown fair and daski skin color plz suggestions one best serum im very worried 😢plz ans me

Thanks for an awesome video. I use differin prescription (adapalene) and also just bought Naicinamide 10%+1%zinc and 8%ascorbic acid + alpha arbutin. Can i use them all together at night, or how would my routine look like. Would you recommend using anything else instead -mainly for hyper pigmentation and cystic acne scars
Hey Sara! Awesome sounds great, you just need to use them seperately in your routine. Try this routine for 4-6 weeks to allow your skin to adjust to the new actives.
Every day in the Morning:
Cleanse
Tone (optional)
ascorbic acid + alpha arbutin
Moisturise
Night 1:
Cleanse
Tone (optional)
Exfoliant
Moisturise
Night 2:
Cleanse
Tone (optional)
Adapalene
Moisturise
Night 3:
Cleanse
Tone (optional)
Niacinamide
Moisturise
Night 4:
Cleanse
Tone (optional)
Niacinamide
Moisturise
REPEAT
After 4-6 weeks if your skin is going well with no irritation, you can step up your retinoid by removing niacinamide from night 3 and replace with Adapalene. Continue with niacinamide for night 4 and then repeat back to night 1
Also cystic acne scars are tough to treat with skincare alone, as they are deeper within the skin. A series of treatments of microneeedling gives great results for deeper scarring. It will just depend on the scarring. Remember consistent use of the skincare is important and results take time (months) so be patient xx

Please give me some suggestions.

Try the lactic acid 10%
hi, i love your video but i have a question. what do you mean 2nd day night and other night? can u explain for me to understand
Are you referring to retinol/retinod? Vitamin A can be stimulating at first, so we recommend you introduce the ingredient slowly - every 2nd or 3rd night you would apply the serum underneath your moisturiser. Then after a month or so if your skin is reacting well you can build up to use it more
Quel protection solaire est la meilleure ensuite ?? Est ce que une protection solaire indice 50 mat est meilleure que celle qui laisse un film gras indice 50 est ce que Ordinary a une protection solaire est elle bien sa texture . Any spf between 20-50+ is fine. I would avoid greasy sunscreens and find a sunscreen that is made for the face. We will do a video shortly on our sunscreen recommendations :)
I have the Lactic and the ascorbic acid and I used the every day , night and day respectively, and I’ll be buying the Azelaic and Granactive, What can I use for my oily skin with those products?
Slow down on your lactic acid, you only need to use 2 x weekly :)
Sounds great! The retinoid will help and you could add niacinamide too
How can i get rid of melsma
Does hyaluronic acid go before or after moisturizer?
Before and apply to damp skin, followed by moisturiser straight after
Hi, I’m using Niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% right now. I do have hyperpigmentation on nose and around mouth, blackheads, whiteheads, open pores on cheeks. Can I continue using the same ordinary product or need to change? I have noticed visible change but want to get rid of pigmentation problem too. Also, could you please suggest me a sun screen and moisturiser from The Ordinary brand for Indian sunlight.
Yes you can continue using the niacinamide, but look at adding the vitamin c + alpha arbutin serum for morning use.
The natural moisturising factors + HA moisturiser.
The ordinary doesn’t have the best sunscreen as we find it leaves a bit of a white cast. Paula’s choice have some good sunscreens
@@SkinZoneTV sure will have a look at her videos. Many thanks for the reply, I’ll try to use the vitamin c + alpha serum as you suggested.

@@widayatiharijadi7568 Hey! You can definitely use a different brand of Vitamin C :) however use the vitamin c in the morning and use your ordinary niacinamide in the evening. The ordinary’s niacinamide cannot be mixed with Vitamin C
Hi, I thought it was not recommended to use vitamin C + alpha arbutin with an other acid like azelaic acid in the morning routine? Thanks
No you definitely can :) azelaic acid is a very gentle acid too. However if you are worried about it being too much for your skin, use them on opposite days.
Day 1
Ascorbic Acid + alpha arbutin
Day 2
Azelaic acid

Yes of course
I have mature sensitive skin prone to eczema from time to time especially the eye areas. I have not had any flare ups for almost two years now. Can I use these products?
Yes you can :) i would use a milk cleanser though to remove makeup and cleanse your skin. If you get a flare up at any stage I would just take a break from your actives while your eczema goes away and stick to cleanse and moisturiser.
I have tried granactive retinoid 2% and than after i empaties , i use 1%retinol but i notice that the garanactive retinoid is works in my dry skin

Great video! I have a hypepigmentation and somebody recommended the Alpha Arbutin together with the red peeling acid or lactic acid and the glycolic toner. Could you please advise if this is a good routine regiment? And how to use them please
Hey there! I would use lactic acid as it is a larger molecular size and less irritation for your skin.
Alpha arbutin is awesome for hyperpigmentation, so I would this in the morning underneath your moisturiser and spf.
and then 2 x per week use lactic acid in the evening :) underneath night cream.
See how you go with those 2 and then you can look at including a retinoid/retinol into your routine a few times a week in the evening.
This skin care where I buy please tell me
