I am pregnant after a uterine rupture. Uterine rupture baby survived, thank God. I don't want to have a spontaneous rupture with this baby. Dr says no need to avoid sex but it makes me extremely anxious and nervous. Do you recommend abstaining ?
I just gave birth to my stillborn daughter at 36 weeks and 4 days on 1/27/23. On that awful day my uterus also ruptured during an attempted VBAC. During the C-section there was talk of a full hysterectomy between my doctors. Dr. Mark Zhang saved my uterus and my life. Today marks a month since I gave birth to my daughter, Idalia 💕 of course I want to get pregnant again and grow my family but now I don't know if I will ever be able to. They found a uterine window on my C-section. Recommended 35-36 weeks delivery if I get pregnant again. Said if I had a vbac my uterus would have ruptured.

How long you waited after you rupture I lost my baby with you to rupture and want to get pregnant again. I have no children.
How long did you wait between pregnancies? Did your OB give guidance on how long to wait between pregnancies?

My MFM followed the thickness of my scar after Uterine rupture, but she said there hasnt been enough info to show if thickness correlates to rupture
