I love this drummer , stays perfect within the "groove" Not to loud, and knows just when to put accents on the just the right beats !!! Great Drummer !!!
He’s the reason I fell in love with electric guitar and never looked back. Guitar has saved my life, brought me comfort and relaxed me when I’m anxious. I love it. The best thing I ever did for myself. I think a lot of players feel the same way.
After listening to Stevie for nearly 30 years of my life I am still blown away by his gift for improvisation. Every aspect of his playing is top notch but his phrasing draws a limitless amount of variations from such a simple scale. He didn't run around like a speed king to show off, it always SOUNDED good and he knew exactly where he was at every moment. The man played guitar with his soul.
I was 15 when Limewire was around. I loved the sound of blues but I didnt know artists. I clicked genre blues and this was the first song I downloaded. What a song to start the journey
I was living in Austin in that era and was really into SRV. I think I first heard this recording from a download and it wasn’t until years later that I saw the video. Now I revisit it every so often and every time I’m right back in my Austin apartment 20 years ago finding treasures (and viruses lol) on the web.
i am only 23 i am a youngster but i love the blues bb king gary moore jimmy and also albert king etc my friends keep telling me i was born in the wrong era i love listen to old school music
I pray to God to give you a lot of beautiful days and you know God loves us so much,So where are you originally from? I am David originally from Spain Granada but currently in Texas now and you?
The King and the Kid. Pure freakin magic. The Velvet Bulldozer laying it down as amazing as always. Look at Stevie's face, it's like he all of a sudden realised he has axe in hand and jammin with his idol. The student doing the King proud.
Too many emotions runs out listing to this. At one end there is this immense respect in Stevie for his hero, and similarly the tower of pride in Albert's heart to see the younger one approaching in right direction and heading to even greater achievement and on the other hand the song itself; "I dreamed I had you all by myself, But now I know you found you another man". Beautiful and Pure.
I still love telling the story how I walked into Rasputin's Music in Berkley , Ca and I was trying to find a rare Stevie Ray CD for my brother. I couldn't locate him in Blues so I asked one of the blue dyed hair punks that work there if they had any SRS. He told me "yea, in the Rock section"....I told him Stevie Ray Vaughn is Blues....the kid looked at me funny and said "no he's rock"...I wanted to break his face but I remembered he's just a 3 chord aficionado what does he know about music
I pray to God to give you a lot of beautiful days and you know God loves us so much,So where are you originally from? I am David originally from Spain Granada but currently in Texas now and you?

Seeing older legends play with newer legends are amazing. Whether its T bone playing with BB, Carl Perkins playing with Clapton and Harris, Albert King playing with SRV, BB playing with John Mayer, Clapton playing with Joe Bonamassa, Santana playing with Eric Gales, Eric Gales playing with Kingfish, Jimmy Page playing with The Edge and Jack White, Chet Atkins playing with Tommy Emmanuel, Tommy Emmanuel playing with Billy Strings.
Albert & Stevie-such a beautiful "sight to hear" (yes, I meant it that way). I listen to their music all the time, but it's always a treat to see the long gone legends ply their trade.
This is the greatest this is the greatest from Vaughan and Albert King and I will change the old-school great of all time ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸💖👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 I love both of these guys ❤️
This performance is a solid 11 out of 10. I first saw this on PBS years ago and it took me months to track it down because I didn't write the details down. I was so blown away by it, I totally forgot.
Albert !!!! HE IS MY HERO Vaughan for me is the representation of the real kind of PSICODELIC A guy from another world, floating on this illusory dimension on your own style , an style so free and deliberate ... Vaughan - Pure Freedom My gods for sure
Hanging out in Cottam, back in the '90's, at the Barons Farm, working in the Shop, and playing this CD on an old player, and than, I return much later, and wait a minute, I brought my laptop. Signal, connection, video, streamed to 40", and I am doing the same thing, in the same spot, twice in my life, in 25 years. God Bless The Baron Frank. Von Flotow

Albert maybe the greatest ever. The type of Guitar he uses pretty much create those sounds on any amp even though expensive ones sounds better. A real expensive Guitar is more effective than the amp. u put both together its over with
Wow, I was thinking the same thing, Most definately !! The Organ fills out the song , giving it a "full" sound, with no empty space, the organ player is "comping" to keep the chords playing along with the bass player. Because Stevie and Albert are only playing SINGLE notes, and not any chords. So the ORGAN is needed to ensure the CHORDS are being played.

You couldnt be more right.
Love that shuffle
Makes you understand how blues music was meant to replace feeling blue with pure joy. I miss SRV.

Albert entry at the 5:12 is out of this world
Albert King is all blues. Love the intro - even if he's just talking - its all blues. Great stuff! :)
Albert’s got such a great voice
Hearing Steve Ray play the guitar always send shivers down my spine.

Hahahaha, great song!

I agree 🎉🎉
Dude that's actually the whole thing 😂 just saying
I've been watching this over and over again for almost 7 years now and it never gets old to me. Two of the Greats.
The King and the Kid. Pure freakin magic.
The Velvet Bulldozer laying it down as amazing as always.
Look at Stevie's face, it's like he all of a sudden realised he has axe in hand and jammin with his idol. The student doing the King proud.
This is one of my favorite videos. Just perfect. SRV is making his mentor proud!
if she flag my train buddy....im bound to let her ride!!
Albert was admiring the srv solo, he knew the young white fella was feeling it.
They had mutual respect. Look at SRV's face while he plays . . .
I tell ya Albert the King wouldn’t of been sitting there if he didn’t respect him. He loved Stevie!
This entire show is a blues classic. Oh man. God help ya if you’ve come into my dive bar and the session is playing. It’s gon be a turner upper.
This song is as good as it gets. Pure joy. RIP.

Well if you don't like that your not human truly 2 of the best!
Cool song !
I was thinking the exact same thing! You have a Mississippi legend and a Jimi-Hendrix-inspired virtuoso going at it like no one does today.
Seeing older legends play with newer legends are amazing.

Check
Out Chris Duarte and Mato Nanji Indigenous. Great players. Never really got big because they stuck with their heart - the blues.
We could whittle a few out of that list
this is the best blues ever.
Albert & Stevie-such a beautiful "sight to hear" (yes, I meant it that way). I listen to their music all the time, but it's always a treat to see the long gone legends ply their trade.
