Hi folks! For the best experience please set video quality to 1080p, as RUclips defaults to a low 480 :( Thanks all for watching!
Love it up there :) great video!
Thank you Richie!
@@HeyHollyYoo I love that you brought your little Archie too! So amazed that he handled the trail up there lol he's a better hiker than me ^^ I was up there last year doing Dyer's bay and it was pretty rough to say the least.
@@karaokerich Yeah I was really worried it'd be too tough on him but he's got hops! A little mountain goat he is. Yeah my quads were so sore the next day, some of those steps were over a foot high!
Great video thank you for sharing!👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!!
nice keep it up
Thanks!
O Canada, wherein Holly demonstrates the most current fashion in tent apparel. 🙂
Haha! Thanks Jeremy
I must have been lucky! Went on Friday/Saturday and had none of the fly battles. Such a beautiful park though. Great video!
Really?? Oh man my timing then! I was honestly starting to take it personally, like jeez so I smell bad or smt? Lol
@@HeyHollyYoo Haha yes! I stayed at SH2 though, so.. location location location? If in the spirit of a true hiker, "embracing the funk" and all, it seems the flies were just trying to welcome you in!
@@Dirtback Hahah yeah, having a primo spot is always key - I just took the last one that was available heh The next step for me is to go somewhere where there are no dedicated sites, or they are REALLY far apart from each other. High Dump was nicer because the sites are more spread out and fewer people in general! I think the flies were not only most welcoming (aggressively welcoming haha), but they definitely enjoyed my funk haha
@@HeyHollyYoo Ahhh yes - it is so hard to get in, but good to know for next time! Not certain if you've done backpacking in Algonquin but the sites are all quite far apart - so nice!
Yesss! There are some wicked crown land sites around.. but that's a whole other layer of skill finding them! haha.
@@Dirtback I adore Algonquin!! I've done a few portages there, no hike ins - I love finding the sites, and canoeing around to find an ideal island heh. The lakes are just incredibly peaceful, a totally different feel from Georgian Bay. I can't wait to go back out there! I also want to do the La Cloche trail in Killarney too
Great video! Did you have to check in at the Cyprus Lake campground Main Office or the Gate House right off the main road?
Hey! I think I checked in at Cyprus!
Did you check out the cave at storm haven?
Oh nooo!!!! I completely forgot about the cave T____T Ok I'll just see it when I go next time!
Great Vlog! Just got back from 2 nights at Stormhaven. The flies were enough to drive me mad! I hope the flies left your little guy alone!
The flies are unrelenting, aren't they?? I was really wishing for an internet connection so I can google when they sleep lol. Archie was also suffering :( Gotta find a mosquito jacket for him
@@HeyHollyYoo poor little guy :(
Nice video looked a lovely area 👌
