Nothing last forever I'm quite sure it made its money back 100 times over . Milwaulkee has it figured out I'm a heavy equipment mechanic and I swear by them I'd be lost, i wouldnt be able to be as effective at my work w out them that's the honest truth.
This happens when you push the pipe i too fat past the engagement jaws. Itll still turn back the tensions been pushed out so it takes much longer to cut by friction i stead of actually pressure on the blade. Pull it out reset and reengage. Push in gently till it grabs and try again. Itll work fine then. The larger pipes tend to cause this issue more than the smaller sizes.
Omg.. the first comment that finally gets it! I had so many people on other platforms who kept saying I don’t know how to use the tool and I’m and idiot.. like.. I don’t even know what to say.. it’s the simplest tool .. I’m on my 5th one and built hundreds of mechanical rooms already
@@The_Impetusit's difficult to use the milwaukee one as well, if its held at a certain angle it will cut faster. I used this for scrapping old copper plumbing we were replacing. It took down 8 stories worth of plumbing a-ok.
Mine cuts 1” in less than two seconds, your pushing the pipe too far back. Insert it let it rest in the jaws and then start you will feel the tool bind up on the pipe and who’ll have to hold it pretty tight to keep it from spinning.

That’s way too long. I have owned my for a few years now. I have never had an issue with it. Yes now it takes longer to cut type L copper. I already replaced the cutting wheel. I will definitely buy another one.
Just like I said in the previous video Milwaukee is for us Auto technicians and DEWALT is for carpentry so DEWALT takes that 💯 but I like both but it’s true.
your still doing it wrong you dont lock the pipe all the way in only to the first spring click about half way then start cutting sould take about 5 second and done. im a plumber and use mine multiple times even wet never any issues.
No he is just tarded the tool works great. Put some wd in it and it will work great. You need to let up on the pipe itself and let it roll then tighten your grip. It is 100% you I could make that tool work no problems.
We have about 25 of these cutters. After heavy use they don’t cut right anymore. Even if you replace the blade. So he’s not wrong
Replace the springs might have some luck and save some $$
I’m a Milwaukee guy all my tools are Milwaukee. But i’ve used the Milwaukee tubing cutter before it does Suck! Sry to say…

My dewalt one has not let me down it’s a beast

@@lukeallan6527 this happens when the bearings are worn as well
Mine jumps occasionally.
Just have to hold it with firm pressure til it catches and you’re good to go!
These people commenting about that tool jumping around OBV NEVER USED ONE. They literally do that right out of the box

Does milwaukee make an impact version like the dewalt
Not yet
@@The_Impetus well I'm sure they might now lol and if they do you will have to test it again
@@jugglinxjuggla if they do, I definitely will!
Milwaukee should make a fuel version. Improved cutter mechanism and power state brushless motor would really elevate that tool
There is a fuel version hahha its made for stianless steel included
Im almost positive the jumping is a part of the tool function ive used these brand new and they feel like that out of the box
LOL!
They are like $99 I would have just replaced the tool > a new blade
Mines new haven’t cut 25 cuts and one time is awesome next time won’t close down on pipe
That’s shitty to have, return it and get it fixed
That machine has saved my wrists

Mine cuts in a few seconds…. Old blade?
The jumping is normal it’s even in Milwaukee own video but every other RUclipsr I’ve seen use this thing there’s seem to cut pipes a lot faster
Usually means that the jaws are not working properly they’re not springing i

My cutter does take that long to cut, your cutter must be defective or worn out,

You had to go out of your way to prove them wrong………😂😅
Gotta do what I gotta do !

Milwaukee garbage
Then you have something wrong with it spring or something go check out any plumber that uses it cut it within like three turns
Just like I said in the previous video Milwaukee is for us Auto technicians and DEWALT is for carpentry so DEWALT takes that 💯 but I like both but it’s true.

What the hell.. that take so long to cut
That things fucked up,warranty it out.We have 4 of those and they would have cut that in a third of the time that it took.Yours is broke.
Yours is beyond repair been dropped too many times
You wore the tool out making money, they don't last forever.
Milwaukee rushed this product out way too soon. Always leaves burrs on L copper and absolutely sucks on 1/2”
I mean I just use manual cutters and they are a lot faster than that lol a lot cheaper to
Except. You're holding it wrong...
My dose not jump like that at all
Learn the plumber vise bro. You were half way there but your not doing it right. One leg in front and one behind.
Grinder is co much faster
Bro use a eal battery 🤡 m12 vs dewalt x3 😆
Buy a new one 😮
Sounds like operator error. Quit beating the crap out of it.
Your not using it right your force in it back to far I use one a lot no problems.

Lol Imagine being so triggered
shut up
Oh ya, ofcourse!
Ur garbage mine cuts in 10 seconds
Buy a new one
Garbage tool - they need to revamp it make it better
That thing is trash
If he would open his eyes all the way he could see he was holding it wrong
The M12 is a piece of crap.
Now try it with a 6A battery
Sure!
Amp hours aren't going to make a difference my guy
@@dougjustus3846 boosts the hell outta my drill maybe it makes it spin faster
I’ve that cutter and mine works much faster. Something is wrong with your cutter.
Prove it ??
Same here mine only takes that long to cut when the copper is ovaled
That shot takes forever. It’s completely useless
