I would just want to say you are my new favorite channel. Thanks for all the great videos. I am wondering if you have a video or know where I can find a video or a good detail of how to check for noise in the communication line with an oscilloscope. I have read it in the manual but haven’t really seen a real world example of how to do it. Thanks.
Hi, great video review, i have the standard version of this tool, it is a very good, i use the Nerrad s/s cutting wheels as they cut so well, thanks for sharing.
HVAC tech from Australia, I have the old style and it only will only cut halfway through 1-1/8 (28mm) pipe. (Think it might be because of the thicker wall on r410a pipe) Have you tried this new one on anything similar?
Hi there, looking for some help with validation of existing systems, any suggestions as to what to look out for or what to check would be greatly received, thanks in advance.
I just ordered one and i only need to install 7 more rads but quite a lot of pipe though. How many cuts can i do on 15 and 22mm zinc plated steel pipe before the cutting disks need replacing? Thank you for your review good sir.
Can you give us an update on this? I am doing HVAC work and I wanna know if it's suitable for cutting inch pipes. I really wish they had a version of this tool cutting from 1/4'' to 1''.
Can it cut 1/2" metal conduit? I jus got the older model and it will cut 3/4" but NOT 1/2". Found a forum online talking about it and there is a design flaw where the pawl doesnt engage enough on that size conduit specifically which unfortunately for me is the only reason i bought it for. I know its advertised as a copper pipe cutter but regular manual cutters even cut metal conduit
@@aramirez15942 I couldn't figure it out. Couldn't get it to cut 1/2". Worked on 3/4" but not that effectively. I took it apart and put it back together a bunch of times trying to modify some thing that I saw somebody post about. Didn't work for me. I sold it. Luckily I only paid 40 for it and sold it for 60
That’s what I was thinking too. I’m definitely gonna make purchase. Stainless is a lot harder to cut than emt, so I’m sure this would have no issues with that
Unfortunately not possible to cut dimensions of 12-, 15-, 16mm pipes. I try few tools, but noone of them able to cut them. I show for the seller as well, He said I have right. My opinion is not worth it to buy. :(
Do you know any British HVAC/Engineering Companies but Specific in South England 🏴 that are hiring for apprenticeships for Americans 🇺🇸. I already have my HVAC Certification and I am working as an Engineer at the Great Wolf Lodge but I want to work in 🇬🇧 UK. I am currently getting my work visa.
Looking at the rpm of the new vs the old it's not much of a difference. I have cut so many stainless steel pipes with the old one without any problems that I can't justify the price of the new one!
Hello. My question is not on the topic of the video, but is about HVAC technology. I am an HVAC technician from Ukraine, I have more than 15 years of experience, I want to continue working in my specialty. Can you please tell me what permissions you need to get to work in this industry?
In the US they would call you an HVAC technician. Being called an engineer here would make most blush haha

Excellent! I see people using them but rarely an in depth look. Many thanks,
No problem 👍🏼 Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Hi, i know it says that it cut cupper from 12 upwards but can your try 10x1 cupper please? i mean i think it can still cut it.
Why did you stop posting? I hope it continues ❤
Come back bro! Love the videos !
Would the old one not cut stainless steel if it had the same cutting wheel as what comes with the new m12 raptor?
Apparently it’s a slightly different machine to the older version so I’m not sure 🤷🏻♂️
Is this the same size as the older one? As the older one was quite compact..
Is it just a different blade or is the machine a new unit. Where did you get it from. Thanks
Apparently it’s a different unit, should be available soon 👍🏼

Good video
Back on track Great review 👌
Thank you mate 🙌🏼
Meenwhile here in the usa 8 months later still waiting for the new cutter to be sold😢
Does it cut galvanized pipe?
When will this come out in the uk for everyone? Cant find them anywhere
Hopefully available soon mate 👍🏼👍🏼
I got mine today mate. Check it out on FFX. It's £149 for bare tool.
Have you got a link to purchase please.
Where can you buy this?
Can you show how fast it cuts carbon steel or stainlesssteel
I’ll try and get a video up when I can 👍🏼👍🏼
Can it cut other pipe sizes or just those stated by Milwaukee?
Unfortunately 1/2 is lowest. If only it could do 1/4 and 3/8. Good tool but struggles with soft drawn copper
Where can this be purchased?

Did you ever find out? looking for it to be able to cut 1/2 inch and 3/4 conduit

Cortar tubulação de 1/4 ??
8:52 Gredd day in the morning.
Would you use this tool on EMT pipe( electrical pipe)?
That’s what I was thinking too. I’m definitely gonna make purchase. Stainless is a lot harder to cut than emt, so I’m sure this would have no issues with that
Can it cut 3/8 ?
Looks like that 7/8 is R22 rated not 410a unless they have improved them that much
How long does the blade last
Not sure yet but I’ll keep you updated 👍🏼
Long time! - when are we getting more vids?
Hopefully soon mate 🙌🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@@hvacuk8975 Ill be keeping a look out
Wish I could buy in the us
Hello Where can we buy this?
Is this only in europe?
4mmは、切断出来ますか?
Can this cutters cut electrical emt?
Of course. Galvanised and carbon steel are harder than EMT.
Wow
If it lasts 6 months, pays for itself, in time.
How can I get this in American
Olá amigo esse corta tubulação de 1/4
Question can this cut emt conduit
I wish someone would answer this exact question
Why don’t they have these in the USA
Can it cut EMT?
Yup. Like butter
I don’t think this was released in the USA

So I have the old one couldn't I just get the new style blades and cut stainless now 🤷♂️
Nope. The spring tension in the INOX jaws is quite stronger than the older model which was specifically made to cut only copper.
Does it cut copper better than the old one?

You must pass a “general contractors licensing test”
is not accurate for small cuts on copper, i sold my one and bought a 12cpc 😂 back
This actually has less rpms than the regular which is 500. This one has 380
i think that's due to twisting on half inch soft drawn pipework the old one needs extra care on soft drawn because of the speed and stopping force
