So then I guess T-Mobile isn't the goat 5G network after all lol. This is why owning your own Fiber is going to be better than renting from someone else.
Correct
Yes, it'll vary from location. The same applies to my local tower. T-Mobile is the only carrier with 10G backhaul with the others have 1G backhaul and I can get about 700mbps on TMHI.
@@thanetworknerd I get 900 hundred down on both Verizon and AT&T
@@antoinegeorge4287the point being is it's location dependent.
Depends on area i went to East Hartford CT and tmo smoked both Verizon and att in speeds overall lots of places getting 600+ up to a gig meanwhile att and Verizon ethier on LTE or lowband 5G mostly and if c band popped up at most i saw 500 but wasn't consistent it stayed the 250-400 range
never seen a AT&T 10gig site yet but Verizon has plenty around these parts
I think most of them are 10 gig here. As long as it's modern, I think all of them are.
@@realsmt yeah.. they did the c band and dod upgrades but they cap out at 600-700 alwaya
@@Cory69see, I had Verizon but I literally couldn’t get faster than 300 down on cband. Interestingly enough that fastest that I can get on AT&T DSS 5G is 300 as well (AT&T hasn’t upgraded the tower to cband and DOD yet here). They both lease on the same tower, so it’s almost like the tower capacity is a 500 mb circuit.
I love I got 550 Mbps ATT in our low level condo. Verizon thinks we be poor here so 0 C-Band. Switched 2 lines at great cost to ATT. With Intl Roaming even by summer. 500Mbps better than 50-75 on VZ nationwide or 4G. 😊. @Cory69
You might be correct why that is the difference. But, you said that tower is a little further away. I would verify that by finding out the exact distances and making them equal. Then you could more thoroughly rule out that the distance did not make any offense between the carriers.
Excellent performance from verizon and att. Very good performance from tmobile as well. Definitely not complaining at all
No complaints 😁
Yep all the networks have more capacity then ever before which is fantastic for consumers
Great performance from Verizon and AT&T, but T-Mobil did very well without fiber.
I've had Verizon for about 10 -11 years... No issues!! Great call quality!!
Me as well. I was with Verizon for a decade and more. Call quality was always phenomenal. Especially in the beginning when making a call on cdma vs gsm. However, these days since abandoning those old network standards, the phone call quality is truly dependent on tower densification and distance.
@@haroldbeauchamp3770 I think the same can be said for T-Mobile, Att , Etc..
I've noticed the new AT&T branded mid-range and flagship phones are now supporting band 41/n41
Most phones now days have full band support for all carriers the bands get disabled and enabled based on sim card
X75 modem total been worth upgrading. Sneed, are you going to make s24 daily driver.
All carriers perform excellent tmo might use some tweaking in uplink they likely wouldn't increase backhoul any time soon as there is enough throughput now if it starts getting slow like below 200 down that's when they probably decide to increase it.
Sineed I wish I was getting those kind of speeds that you got on Verizon down here in Florida we're not getting anywhere near that.
AT&T is the goat in Florida.
@@rodoandyhernandez9417T-Mobile is
I switch to Verizon 4 months ago everyone loves it except for me I always have data and call issues
Wait until tmobile will be on 10 gig fiber. Theyre already working on it. In time they will catch up to the other carriers
