    Hi all!
    Baltic lent me this to review and I hardly took it off the wrist. Not that it doesn't have some drawbacks.
    Of course, for all the details on how I score and review the watches, please check out this video: • The Perfect Tudor Blac...
    Let me know what other GMT watches you'd say are a value proposition in the comments! And please subscribe, like, etc etc. It really helps me out and means a lot.
    Cheers!

    I have a Baltic Aquascaphe GMT and it runs about 1.5 seconds fast per day! Mine came with a slip of paper showing that they’d regulated it to +2 seconds per day at factory. Love the watch, have taken it on international trips with me :)

      Ah, thanks for telling me, Zach. Maybe for units they send out to reviewers, they're just 'review' pieces and the actual purchasers get something regulated! As it should be. I'll pin your comment so people know 👌🏻

    This is a truly lovely piece mate! I'm glad they are using domed sapphire crystals as opposed to acrylic, at least with their Aquascaphe line. Speaking of which: a couple of months ago I purchased a pre-loved Aquascaphe Dual Crown and I couldn't be happier with it. It contains a Miyota 9039 and it totally runs within chronometer specs. Maybe the new Miyota 9075 true GMT movement is a viable alternative for them to consider for future batches of this watch. I like that you're constantly working on improving your videos with numerous tweaks, excellent stuff mate!

    • @LumePip
      @LumePip  Год назад +1

      They're choosing crystals that really capture the essence of an acrylic one - that insane doming, but without it being annoying on the wrist, or bulbous or anything like that. Also, congrats on that piece. They look sweet. I like the look of those, and the Traska Seafarer, with similar looks. That also has the Miyota 9039, as does another watch I'm currently reviewing. I'm enjoying the no-date watches more and more these days, it seems! Hopefully I'll get a look at something with that 9075 true GMT movement, too, which the BOLDR Odyssey GMT has, funnily enough... And thanks so much for the kind words, Alex - honestly, it really means a lot. Get a pic of that Baltic up on the ol' Instagram, too! Just checked your profile to see it but couldn't find it (but did lust after that Nodus Sector a bit!).

    Thanks for the review! - my Baltic GMT came with a control sheet that shows +13s/d, and worn the C125 gained up to 19s/d. I requested that, they stated this as high, but normal. I wouldn't wanna call this "regulation" acceptable, because the C125 can do so much better. Probably they don't regulate the mvts. at all, they just run them on a grapher. So I regulated this to a deviation range of -1 to +4 s/d min_max. all positions, and that is, how it's running the last 8 months. I remember the caseback beeing almost unscrewed, when I inspected the watch closely after arriving, that never would have been water resist. Man! That should not happen. Also fixed this & got it pressure tested by a watchmaker. And he approved my regulation ;) Now it is indeed a beautiful watch: love the design, great functionality, very good finishing, rest of QC did well - no dust on the black laquered dial, flawless hands & markers. Nice :) And I recommend the BOR bracelet, it's good stuff. But don't accept the lume to be something like Zelos style - it is initially nice & evenly applied, but fades a bit fast.

    • @LumePip
      @LumePip  Год назад +1

      Nice job on the regulation! But you’re so right about the caseback - hopefully this is the exception and not the rule 🙏🏻the model I reviewed was actually fine in this respect and the QC was obviously pretty great, but it would be good for more regulation, though others have reported their movements are running great. A beautiful watch, nonetheless! 👌🏻
