- Fabio and Gabriel are Indian ringneck parakeets. Gabriel unfortunately is having some hormonal problems so he started to pluck his feathers, but that doesn’t stop the duo from kissing as Fabio comforts his baby brother. Cuteness overload!

I used to work in an office that had a cockatoo in the office next to mine. I usually worked alone overnight. Needless to say, he would scare the crap out of me. He would be silent for hours, then all of a sudden do a fake sneeze that sounded exactly human. Or he would say "HEY let me out of here", or mimic human laughing. Scared me so many times.
😂 i could see that! Sat alone in the dark and you just hear laughing thats not quite human from down the hall.... they are so cute though its like a necessary evil

WhoKnowsGalaxy These birds had to be separated because the blue one picked on the green so much. According to the owner, now they can be together again. Watch how scared the blue one is. Are your birds both males? If they are and they’re acting just like this, one of them is endangered.

Gem JaxX Exactly. Note the blue’s eyes are pinning hard when he cowers. Distressed. Parrots in captivity bite at massively higher rates than wild parrots. It’s not the green’s fault either. 2 confined males.
They must have been raised by very loving couple so mimic so well.
The parrots not only distinctly recognize they're brothers but also show they can interpret the actions of humans surrounding them to fit their situation, as opposed to merely copying what humans do. Regards, Samuel F.

I love birds. But not to put them in a cage and made them a house accessories. So every time my parents bought one (or their family/client gave some), I secretly let them free. LoL. Once when I'm in elementary school, my mom caught me broken the cage intentionally, boy, did she get angry at me... 😅 She beaten me and said that the loose bird would be eaten by cats or civets anyway. But I stick with my principles that a flying creature with wings were created to fly so we should let them fly...or else, just cut those wings altogether. She never agreed with me and keep buying those expensive beautiful birds.
One day in the early 2000s (when I already went to college in another island), my mom put a talking hill myna under the sun in the morning, and forgot to pick it up until the afternoon. The poor bird died with its legs up on the base of the cage. 😭 I cried when I heard the story...but at least she finally felt guilty and stop buying/accepting birds again until now. Thank goodness.

My parrot, for example, still remember my dog's barking (even though she passed away long ago) and barks when he hears the other dogs in the neighborhood or when he barks to neighbors while he is outside in the garden 😂
