Current guidelines advise against dorsogluteal injections due to the proximity of sciatic nerve, superior gluteal nerve and superior gluteal artery to the injection site. We are taught only to perform ventrogluteal, deltoid or vastus lateralis IM injections. Assuming some/most people self-injecting aren't familiar with the precise anatomy or techniques to ensure you haven't hit the artery, it's probably best to have them avoid this area. For example, one peer reviewed article indicates ventrogluteal injection sites are ~14-16 mm from the superior gluteal artery and ~12-14mm from the superior gluteal nerve depending on the patient. When using the dorsogluteal site, on average, you are 7-9mm from the superior gluteal artery and 6-9mm from the superior gluteal nerve (when performed precisely). Think about how fucking small 6 mm is, and think about people with minimal anatomical knowledge rotating sites. Seems like a problem waiting to happen for people as dumb as fucking isiah miranda/many others.

We have a dummy in our gym which has been blasting tren for a year and test as 750mg/wk for 10 years or so. Recently spent a week in thr ICU in an induced coma. He has an enlarged pituitary gland, dizziness, impaired vision, fainting spells and bad cardiac issues. The endocrinologist he saw told if he keeps.doing what he is doing he had maybe 2 yrs left. If he dials it back, drops the tren and does low dose trt he has 10 years, due I assume to the permanent damage he has done to his heart and endocrine system. His biggest worry is losing muscle and asked if insulin would be okay to use. That's tells you where his head is at also his ignorance. He is in his 40's with 2 kids. Should be smarter than this. He never even donates blood, gets bloodwork done or even use alcohol to clean his skin before injections. Just stupid!. This stuff isn't harmless!
The muscle you're aiming for when hitting "quads" is called the vastus lateralis, and it can take up to 3ml (the most of any muscle). If you actually hit the vastus lateralis there should be no issues.
Also injecting your ass can be pretty dangerous. If you are too superomedial, you will hit the superior gluteal nerve and you will weaken the gluteus medius (and also gluteus medius) from contracting leading to Trendelenburg sign

I've heard a lot of people saying don't inject in quads but I've never had an issue with it. Why is this? I shoot my TRT every second day so I rotate between both shoulders, both biceps, both traps, both quads. I've never had an issue except for very early on when I nicked a nerve in my shoulder and had to reposition the needle. The quads are sometimes slightly painful but it's really nothing. Why are some people so against injecting into the quads?
In the event that something goes wrong quads can be supremely problematic and for most people they tend to have things go wrong with quads. It might be that nothing goes wrong for you but for most people it's just a smart precaution.
For additional context on IM injection sites. In nursing school we are now taught NOT to use the Gluteus Maximus (butt cheek) sites anymore. This is due to the sciatica risk. I also have a friend that's currently dealing with it, and trust me, you don't want that sciatica limp.
My first cycle at 21 years old was 200mg of test and deca. Incredible gains after 3 years of lifting but was a mild cycle by 2003 standards. I’ve only ever done 2 shots in my quads, first one dead leg (with test 400) second shot I must have hit a vein because blood spurted out everywhere. That was the last time. Normal sites are my arms and ass cheeks. With a specific brand of test 400 I had really bad dead arse to the point I couldn’t walk properly for days. Only ever had it on that cycle. Looking to run a cycle of tren e and test 400. Only 100mg of each a week though. That’s always been my standard with a year inbetween cycles
To be fair, almost everything has been shown to induce beta amyloid deposition in rodent models (only slightly hyperbolic). AD rodent models are notoriously bad indicators of human impact, unfortunately.

I don’t understand these drastic personality changes people say occur based on their use of Tren. I have done 420mg of Tren A (from one of the really reputable domestic US sources) a week and I had no ill side effects beyond tossing and turning at night. ive done like 64 injections into my quad 3-6 times ive woken up where i could hardly walk for 2-3 days , the pain always just disappeared , and 99% of the time its painless, never had a hospital trip, i just swapped to super small needles and the issues stopped orange 5/8th needle tips

I have a question for the community... I'm in my early 40's and started HRT about a year ago. My natural test level was 290 ng/dl. Three months ago my test went up to 490 ng/dl. I pin 200 mg of test 200 1 time weekly and take nothing else. I just got my bloodwork back and my test is at 2490 ng/dl. The doctor didn't even know what to say as she had never seen a number that high. Any thoughts or articles that could shed some light on why my body is holding onto so much test? I had an ultrasound done on my testicles to see if there were any growths that could be making me respond at such a high level- those were negative thank god. All of my blood work- of which there was a lot- was dead center of all the reference ranges. I dropped my dose down to .6 ml once weekly and now am at a stable 980 ngdl. So, I have no idea what caused me to have those results except the obvious reason- 1 ml weekly was too much for me and I was seeing zero benefit.

I feel much better now that I'm at a better level for me. I guess it all depends on what your goals for using test are. I was not a sex god- quite the opposite. I had so much free T that my estradiol was through the roof. Then I took an AI several times and crushed it to zero. If I had no known what the AI could do and what zero est could feel like I would have killed myself. I didn't care about anything. I was depressed and had no motivation. I hope this helps.
I fucked up my right quad with ketamine a few years ago. Started Test Cyp 2 weeks ago, using only TRT levels. I'm alternating between delts and glutes, no side effects as of yet. Then again, I only use 100mg a week.

We have a dummy in our gym which has been blasting tren for a year and test as 750mg/wk for 10 years or so. Recently spent a week in thr ICU in an induced coma. He has an enlarged pituitary gland, dizziness, impaired vision, fainting spells and bad cardiac issues. The endocrinologist he saw told if he keeps.doing what he is doing he had maybe 2 yrs left. If he dials it back, drops the tren and does low dose trt he has 10 years, due I assume to the permanent damage he has done to his heart and endocrine system. His biggest worry is losing muscle and asked if insulin would be okay to use. That's tells you where his head is at also his ignorance. He is in his 40's with 2 kids. Should be smarter than this. He never even donates blood, gets bloodwork done or even use alcohol to clean his skin before injections. Just stupid!. This stuff isn't harmless!

The muscle you're aiming for when hitting "quads" is called the vastus lateralis, and it can take up to 3ml (the most of any muscle). If you actually hit the vastus lateralis there should be no issues.
To a degree I agree. Ive had bad reactions in the major 3 IM spots. Not just from PEDs but from injectable zofran, cortico-steroids and NSAIDs.
Also injecting your ass can be pretty dangerous. If you are too superomedial, you will hit the superior gluteal nerve and you will weaken the gluteus medius (and also gluteus medius) from contracting leading to Trendelenburg sign

I've heard a lot of people saying don't inject in quads but I've never had an issue with it. Why is this? I shoot my TRT every second day so I rotate between both shoulders, both biceps, both traps, both quads. I've never had an issue except for very early on when I nicked a nerve in my shoulder and had to reposition the needle. The quads are sometimes slightly painful but it's really nothing. Why are some people so against injecting into the quads?
In the event that something goes wrong quads can be supremely problematic and for most people they tend to have things go wrong with quads. It might be that nothing goes wrong for you but for most people it's just a smart precaution.

My first cycle at 21 years old was 200mg of test and deca. Incredible gains after 3 years of lifting but was a mild cycle by 2003 standards. Now 20 years later at 40 years old and in the best shape of my life after a huge comeback to gym last year. Rare heart disease almost killed me and left me with defibrillator pacemaker and congestive heart failure but all in remission and genetic, not related to gear. Now I’m on 160mg of trt as of recently and feeling that familiar Superman feeling in and out of gym even on trt dose. I’ll run cycles but not crazy ones. Anavar when I cut and things my clinic can prescribe

While doing NPP and pinning EOD I tried quad 1 time so I could add 2 new nuscles tto my rotation and my leg and knee swelled up so bad I could barely walk for a week and same thing at work fucking sucked. 1st and last time i ever pin quads

I’ve only ever done 2 shots in my quads, first one dead leg (with test 400) second shot I must have hit a vein because blood spurted out everywhere. That was the last time. Normal sites are my arms and ass cheeks. With a specific brand of test 400 I had really bad dead arse to the point I couldn’t walk properly for days. Only ever had it on that cycle.
Looking to run a cycle of tren e and test 400. Only 100mg of each a week though. That’s always been my standard with a year inbetween cycles
To be fair, almost everything has been shown to induce beta amyloid deposition in rodent models (only slightly hyperbolic). AD rodent models are notoriously bad indicators of human impact, unfortunately.

I don’t understand these drastic personality changes people say occur based on their use of Tren. I have done 420mg of Tren A (from one of the really reputable domestic US sources) a week and I had no ill side effects beyond tossing and turning at night. I think most of these guys are not only just exaggerating but also just piece-of-shit humans to begin with and just blaming their poor personalities on their drug use.
ive done like 64 injections into my quad 3-6 times ive woken up where i could hardly walk for 2-3 days , the pain always just disappeared , and 99% of the time its painless, never had a hospital trip, i just swapped to super small needles and the issues stopped orange 5/8th needle tips

Lol when I was 18 I was blasting almost a gram of test e and 500 mg tren for almost 6 months while eating like absolute dog shit. I would be at my desk at work and my nose would just start dropping blood like a faucet because my BP was so high. It was around this time I figured out I should probably stop using gear. I have a question for the community... I'm in my early 40's and started HRT about a year ago. My natural test level was 290 ng/dl. Three months ago my test went up to 490 ng/dl. I pin 200 mg of test 200 1 time weekly and take nothing else. I just got my bloodwork back and my test is at 2490 ng/dl. The doctor didn't even know what to say as she had never seen a number that high. Any thoughts or articles that could shed some light on why my body is holding onto so much test? I appreciate taking the time to read this. I have all my bloodwork to show that I'm not bullshitting or trying to shitpost. @@theterminator6121 Thanks for responding. I went to an endocrinologist and my primary. I had an ultrasound done on my testicles to see if there were any growths that could be making me respond at such a high level- those were negative thank god. All of my blood work- of which there was a lot- was dead center of all the reference ranges. I dropped my dose down to .6 ml once weekly and now am at a stable 980 ngdl. So, I have no idea what caused me to have those results except the obvious reason- 1 ml weekly was too much for me and I was seeing zero benefit.

@@theterminator6121 In short- not good. I am not using anything else or trying to become a 40-something beast. I just want to feel like I have energy to work out and feel normal. I feel much better now that I'm at a better level for me. I guess it all depends on what your goals for using test are. I was not a sex god- quite the opposite. I had so much free T that my estradiol was through the roof. Then I took an AI several times and crushed it to zero. If I had no known what the AI could do and what zero est could feel like I would have killed myself. I didn't care about anything. I was depressed and had no motivation. I hope this helps.

I use quad. I don't like it but not because there's "issues" - the problem for me it's the angle. You have to shoot at the right spot at the right angle hoping not to hit a vein. But the main thing is the angle...
