A nice Aladdins cave full art gear, I went to the one on Charing Cross road ages ago. Only have the ciao grey ones at present.

Ah yes! That’s a nice little shop! A great location too. I really want to revisit the one in Islington as it’s their flagship store and is even bigger than the Brighton one!

Copics are certainly very high quality felt tips and the quality of their pigments is definitely vibrant. They blend extremely well and are definitely top notch for making amazing artworks. But I could never afford something like that, and I feel they're way too overly priced in my opinion, but it is understandable that a lot of art products are very high priced these days too. And cause copic are a very well known and popular brand, they've often been the apple to many artist's eyes too,
Though to me, Ohuhu also do a very good blending job, not as well as copics would as it does take a bit to blend them, but it does the job, and Ohuhu's colours are also very vibrant too.
I also wanted to say that I've been enjoying reading Companions a lot. I love the main character Plum and her friends too.

Thank you so much for reading Companions 💕 I’m currently going through the old pages to correct a lot of the art mistakes. I don’t know whether I’ll replace the old pages or not though 🫤
Yes, Ohuhu are a great dupe for Copics, especially now they offer brush tips (I don’t enjoy chisel tips). I think the biggest cost behind them is import fees from Japan. A positive about Copics is that you can buy individual pens and refills though I think it’s also true that people in North America can get Ohuhu refills now! Lucky!

@@enchantedviolinart I can imagine it's going to take quite some time to correct everything, but I'm sure you'll get through everything. You're amazing at what you do, and I really enjoyed seeing some of your old inktober artwork too, it was very beautiful and I hope you know that every step you take in your journey; wether big or small, that you're improving every drawing you create.
I know that you will continue to improve as time goes on, and I just want to say that I really do enjoy companions for what it is. Dipa is definitely my favourite as not many stories contain muslims in them and I really do love your comic, it's amazing.
I think you should personally do what you feel like. If you wish to recreate those old pages, by all means do so. And if you don't want to, then you shouldn't have to either.
I will say that there are some things I don't agree often about with the world, such as homosexuality being seen as a good influence, because I don't believe it's right, nor a thing that should be deemed acceptable. It's wrong because it is something that is unnatural and I believe that marriage, and that kind of love is meant to be between a man and woman,
It is evidenced that God stated this himself in the Quran, that he created man in pairs, male and female. However everyone is free to lead their own lives as God gave them that free will.
I also find the AI in the real world to be unnerving because I believe that their use, isn't ultimately for the good of others.

Aww that's quite a nice benefit to having copics, I can see why it's great to have them, but it's probably pricey to always get refills for them. Especially if counting how many times you do it. Still, i can understand why you love copics, they are quite impressive.
Yeah brush tips are quite nice, especially since it's definitely easier to colour with them. I have some brush tips, just a different brand to ohuhu though. But from my own experience, chisle tips arent bad once you get used to colouring with them for a good while; for me personally, they're actually really fun to coour with.
And.. I don't know if that's just a me thing or.. a me thing? Haha Idk but I love them.
