More Jim Gordon goodness. I thought this one was worth a re-do, because I didn't really catch Jim Gordon's feel on the first video I did. His tempo was impeccable; hope this version is better. I'm getting the tuning dialed in on my DW Santa Monica kit, and they are really starting to sing.

Your kit sounds great! I guess I didn't hear that cymbal crash on the original mix - maybe it's buried - on the one of the opening bars. Thanks I now realize JG did more then I could hear.

Thanks! Jim is doing flam crashes at the beginning between figures - right as the verse begins - not hard, but light crashes on his ride - and yes, kind of buried in the mix. He almost never did flam crashes, by the way. I did the crashes on my crash cymbals; before I learned how often Jim crashed his ride as more of an accent.
