I don't know all the symptoms of Parkinson's, but my father-in-law had it. He first showed signs (fatigue and weak muscles) at the age of 80. He lived to be 95. He never had a mental decline. His mind was sharp to the end. The main issue he had was mobility.

My great grand mother was diagnosed with Parkinson at age 84 and live knowing exactly what was going on till she was 102. Her decline was not mentally but she was not able to pour tea and bake like she did in the past, it had a major affect on her nervous system. She knew every one in the family and it was a large Italian family down to great great grand children. If this is what he has it would not change my vote for him because he has enough people around him to prevent him from doing something stupid, unlike trump.
It does not look like Parkinson's, that looks like at least moderate Alzheimer's Disease. It is in my family, with many of my senior relatives going through this. It is so blatant, with his walk, the way he holds his hands, the way he talks, the way he handles the teleprompter and interviews. People with Alzheimer's don't start with severe symptoms, it progresses. And, yes, people with Alzheimer's can have good days where they can hold a conversation, and later in the day, or another day, not even know who or where they are. It is a roller coaster. And another area of concern is that because these changes are disturbing for the individual with AD, they can lash out and be angry when challenged or paranoid when they forget important dates and think that others are sabotaging them. My Mom refused to believe she had AD until she was quite far along. Then she was relieved to be told she had AD as it explained so much -but that was closer the end.
As a nurse of 30 years; I can tell you, he shows all the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. That just my personal observation. If I were him, I would find another Doctor.

So, the answer seemed clear to me. It would have contradicted what she said if he had been seeing the Parkinson’s specialist in that person’s 8 visits to the White House. The journalists were trying too hard to read something nefarious into the situation!

I have seen dementia first hand in a family member. I definitely see it in Biden. I don't see dementia in Trump. I don't support either but just saying how I see it from seeing dementia on a family level.

My great grand mother was diagnosed with Parkinson at age 84 and live knowing exactly what was going on till she was 102. Her decline was not mentally but she was not able to pour tea and bake like she did in the past, it had a major affect on her nervous system. She knew every one in the family and it was a large Italian family down to great great grand children. If this is what he has it would not change my vote for him because he has enough people around him to prevent him from doing something stupid, unlike trump.

It does not look like Parkinson's, that looks like at least moderate Alzheimer's Disease. It is in my family, with many of my senior relatives going through this. It is so blatant, with his walk, the way he holds his hands, the way he talks, the way he handles the teleprompter and interviews. People with Alzheimer's don't start with severe symptoms, it progresses. And, yes, people with Alzheimer's can have good days where they can hold a conversation, and later in the day, or another day, not even know who or where they are. It is a roller coaster. And another area of concern is that because these changes are disturbing for the individual with AD, they can lash out and be angry when challenged or paranoid when they forget important dates and think that others are sabotaging them. My Mom refused to believe she had AD until she was quite far along. Then she was relieved to be told she had AD as it explained so much -but that was closer the end.
As a nurse of 30 years; I can tell you, he shows all the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. That just my personal observation. If I were him, I would find another Doctor.

I had an aunt who had tingling and numbness in her extremities. She was diagnosed with MS. It would be ignorant and presumptuous of me to assert that everyone with that symptom has MS. Tingling and numbness in the extremities can be a symptom of peripheral vascular disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, and a host of other conditions. You don't know anything about Biden's health status with CERTAINTY because you are not a physician, are unqualified to make a diagnosis, have not given him a medical examination, and seem to lack critical thinking skills.
