I have seen a few other orchestration videos on youtube concerning the Band of Brothers and I have to say, this group of kids really put the leather to the backside of those other semi-professional groups. Nice going!!! Great.

To my father, James H. Keller, 28th Inf. Div. in WWII. US Army retired. Told me Easy had it easy compared to him. He and I watched the show on HBO together. Don't get me started on Saving Private Ryan!
Beautiful rendition - the only thing I wonder is whether these students knew what they were playing? They seem too young to have watched the original TV series, which was confronting in parts - but if their parents let them watch it and they appreciated both the music and the important part part they were doing in preserving the memory of what those very brave men did, then more power to them all!

+Miles Harrison I know what you mean. I think with music like this, you really need to watch the films and/or listen to a ww2 veteran. This piece isn't a sight reading or technical test for the musician. You have to feel every bullet, every test of character and indeed the dream to go back home to normality (after war.) But absolutely well done to all involved, it is a good effort and a fantastic arrangement.
deathfart50 the brass made the rest of them sound like they were all out of tune in some parts,lol. Good performance tho,considering they are very Young. Not the easiest pieces to play.
Best series they've ever done and one of the reasons that led me to become a military paratrooper... so proud!
