My all time favorite. Best Pipe surfer of all time.
Ronnie was a great guy, a good school mate. We went to Kahuku and would cut out to go surf. When we were in 10th grade we would often surf Sandbar, a bit smaller and a good learning spot next to Pipe. Best of all was his older Sister, I had a mad crush on her! Some good times! Aloha Ronnie, Thanks for all the lessons brah!

@@Nalu_TV Ronnie and I surfed together starting in 8th grade. I had just moved to Kahuku from Samoa, he and I became friend thru the love of surfing. I ended up moving to the mainland in 1981 and lost touch. It was sad to hear of his passing but SO good when I see tributes to him! He was an awesome surfer, person and friend! Aloha

I actually taped this on VHS in 1990. It was on tv on Oahu about "Surfing Country" north shore. Wow to see this again.

Absolute legend. Looked up to Ronnie with the greatest respect- he was the best. So incredibly bummed upon hearing of RB's passing that summer day. Condolences to his loved ones and close friends.
