This is making me want to make an electronically controlled maker like the old board markers or the airsoft hpa setups. Given they in the P* style constant air in barrel when blocked by a round setups if you max out dwell time you can setup some SCARY launchers as their joules increase with heavier rounds. That.. Could be hilariously good for LL, paintball 2.4g firing at 300fps/10j and thus paintball legal then get home change tank swap to 8g or 10g ammo mags and boom it's now 33j You can do some really fun things if yiu design the system to exploit dwell time.
Ideally the perfect dwell time is set to the barrel length and pressure output. Anything more would just be wasteful and not amount to any actual gains. Actually over dwelling something, if thats even a word would likely hurt accuracy as excess turbulence disrupts the projectile upon exit. What needs to be done is the size of the dump valve…everything else is just a modified paintball marker.
@@lesslethalfordummies True, the only thing mentioned was that the Marker was not made for Paintball games as it was a modified, 350-400 fps.... but nothing it said there`s an MV Spring.
No we do not because these are paintball derivatives. A choke would likely fracture paint, not to mention air isnt as volatile as powder so we would loose precious velocity.
@@lesslethalfordummiesthere is something choke like that could be hilarious. If one was dedicated to accuracy over all else optimised for a know distance and one didn't mind standardising on one projectile sdn weight you could use an LRB a slight bend/narrowing at an angle of the barrel to induce the magnus effect. Guaranteed twonie size groups at 18m for example. God i need a machineshop.
There are probably way more precise ways to attempt a choke but i have shot some balls through an undersized stubby barrel in the past. Velocity fell way off to the point it wasnt adequate for our intensions. It is an interesting concept but as soon as a projectile encounters barrel resistance….air is lazy like water and chooses the path of least resistance. Gun powder not so much.
Nice, bro! Much improved than when you first got it💥💥💥
It seems to have woken up a little on its own. Broke in meow I guess?
Oh wow great info bro your really killing it right now man 💪🏼💯💥💥💥 military huh go for the 11hundo whoooooooooweee she gonna rapid fire nice
Better every day.
@@lesslethalfordummies11hundo thats gonna be fun cant wait
Gives nice power now. 16 joule with the 14" barrel is better than you got before. Great video as always Sean 😃
Something very strange happened in the next full video when i test 1100psi.
HOWDY! been away from making videos but I'm still lurking and enjoying the content.
Staying safe out there i hope. 🫡
06:50 had me rolling dude 😂😂😂😂
🤤
I have a dog pillow in the back of my barrel, it keeps most projectiles in.

I still have the rod and I am using bed sheet with the dog pillow in the back.
That’ll work 👍🏼
Hey Sean, is this the same one MCS sells as Home Defense on their website but with CO2 88 g instead?
I believe so but i would at least fire off an email to MCS and confirm it gets the military velocity spring.

I will be trying co2 next before i dive into springs and things. That will probably tell more.
@@lesslethalfordummies Awesome :)
Do you have choked barrels like the shotgun barrels to focus compression?

Defense your pets people.😼🐕Ballistic strings could tangle the tummy.
Yes sir. My cats are especially attracted to all things string. They don’t discriminate.
Just off topic Sean; How has the rigour of previous high fps experiments affected the the fragile aluminium DERP on your CQMF M17 markers?
I no longer own any Cqs but they did handle 50j fine. I would never set them higher than that.
