- We're excited to bring you the first episode of a brand new series called #ParsWithTheStars in which we pair up a PING Pro with a celebrity in the hope that they can pass on some words of wisdom to help the 'star' improve their game. In Episode One, PING Pro and four-time European Tour winner, Matt Wallace, tees it up with England and Arsenal football legend, Ian Wright, and gives him some pointers on managing expectations, course management and club selection. #PlayYourBest

Matt Wallace comes across as a true gentleman and sportsman. Also, what a wonderfully relaxed swing he has. Wrighty is always good for a laugh. Nice idea of a video, hope there's plenty more. In 45 mins I've became a fan of Matt Wallace.

Say what you want about Ian's handicap, I'd play with him any day of the week. I like guys that don't take it too serious, love to laugh, but still want to play well.

Matt's putting is something else. Very interesting to note that Matt keeps correcting Ian's stance, bringing him round to the left, I think that's something a lot of right handers do

I first noticed Matt last week when he played with Radar and I fell in love with his silky smooth swing.

This is glorious, I've been looking for "high handicap golf ball" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Tonayden Senadelyn Remedy - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my m8 got cool results with it.

You gotta love Wrighty, what a great guy, he's just 6 inches short of being a good golfer, and that 6 inches is between the ears.Matt is a top bloke, really good swing too.
I recently purchased some Ping irons, best clubs I've ever owned. Never used Ping before, I'll never use anything else now. Then I discovered this channel, cool content. More Radar please, as I'm an Aussie and he's a bloody legend

Enjoyable watch with Matt showing some nice tips for Ian (played 200+ times for Arsenal) like the bit about managing expectations. Maybe Ian could read Golf is not a game of perfect that my PGA coach mentioned during a lesson last month that I have slowly been reading through. Love your excitement Ian

Ping what the hell are you playing at first the RADAR series now this!! One of my all time favourite football Players (I`m a liverpool fan )I`ve actually met Wrighty twice when he was playing for Burnley and he remember my name.LEGEND!!

nice vid. The one thing I noticed was Ian's feet are slipping/sliding/moving all over the place. If he keeps that part more quiet, I think he would see some great improvements.

I was just watching Tubes and Beefy Johnston and Beefy said he wanted a game with Wrighty as he supported Arsenal because of him in a Spurs household. Coincidence that this then came up...or Not, hmmm

The way Matt uses the wind as an excuse when telling Wrighty to take more club. Let's be honest, Matt knows Wrighty needs more club because he hits it about 20yrds less than he thinks he does.

I’m thinking the same. I’m a 9 handicap and thinking I must be really shit. He would struggle to break 90.
Take a run-of-the-mil "7" index player from their course and pair them with a tour winning professional, on camera, for a major manufacturer to share with who ever will watch and all of a sudden Ian Wright's claim of being a "7" doesn't seem so far fetched... Consider (all of) the conditions folks...

Matt comes across well in this, he needs to do more stuff like this as this side of him doesn’t come across on the course , needs to chill out more on the course . I like Matt when he’s like this 👌🏻
Great video Ping, more please. Bit puzzled by Matt Wallace, bit of a Jekyl and Hyde character. He seems a great guy but can turn into a monster in a tournament when things don't go his way 😕😞 he has the talent to win a major if he can remain as calm and cheerful as in this vid. Wrighty is a great character 😆
